If Ive Downloaded Say About 300MB+ Or Have Been Connected For 4 Hours + Whenever I Press Disconnect The PC Freezes and Doesn't Shutdown!
Im Using BT Broadband And XP Home!

I dont think it has anything to do with your connection. Mabey try defragmenting. :unsure:

its been happening for ages. also happens to my cousin with same ISP.
i defrag once every fortnight (speeddisk) and it still does it :angry:

update drivers, usb drivers and modem drivers.
or just dont disconnect
