I won't mention any bittorrent software.

Audiogalaxy - RIP :(
DC++ - Used for random stuff. Once I get my files together I'll use it for comics.
eMule - Only use it once in a while to get something that can't be found elsewhere.
Epicea (giFT) - Barely used, didn't find what I wanted.
Kazaa Lite - Awful.
MUTE - Used it in 2005 and didn't really like it.
Phex (Gnutella)
Soulseek - I still use it after all this time.
WinMX - Well, it was decent in 2002. Why do people keep trying to resurrect it?

Napster - best! i loved this program & the chat
Audiogalaxy - great R.I.P. i was a forum addict there
eMule - good
Limewire - good
Frostwire - good
Kazaa - crap
Azureus - great
Shareaza - ok
BearShare - good when free
WinMX - crap
SoulSeek - good
Ares - ok

I still miss using Napster in it's prime. I don't use any of these now. I never tried newsgroups. I'm all about rapidshare/megaupload now & I buy a lot of music. I want the high quality of my own rips.

I love uTorrent and eMule. They work the best for me.

I could never get Ares to work. Shareza seems to work for individual small files that I can't find elsewhere. But it's hard to find anything as everything is poorly labled.

I am starting to use the Japanese ShareEX2 and Winny and Perfect Dark, but they seem to require a HUGE amount of upload and download speed, which I believe is common in Japan but I don't have. But if you want Japanese files, it'd good to check them out.

I've tried DC++ but I didn't have much luck. I guess I'll have to play with it.

I tried WinMX but it doesn't have anything I like and there is a German program called AppleJuice, which I've not been able to do much with as it's in German and I've not played with it enough. Maybe it's good, I'll let you know if I figure it out

Outside of one file, that I'm getting slowly with ShareEx2 I have never not been able to find anything I wanted on torrents (uTorrent) or Kad (eMule)
