hi people
i would like to know is there any software where i can standardise the volume of my mp3 files. i kinda fedup of keep on changing the volume of each mp3 files. sometimes it can be too loud whereas sometimes too soft the volume.

volume may change with the quality of the song,
you may want to god in a bring down the quality to a certain level but i wouldn't recomend it.

i think when you burn the tracks nero automatically alters the sound to a preset sound :) like i said i only think

Normalizing is what you're talking about, I believe. Any standard audio editor (such as Cool Edit Pro) can normalize your mp3's.

Yup...Nero normalizes as well. But you need to set it to do that.

there is probably a plugin for winamp that normalizes your music. have alook on there site

MP3 Gain (http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/download.php)

MP3 Gain adjusts the mp3 file directly, without decoding and re-encoding, so no quality is lost.
