I am new in things of hardware and I want to buy a new computer.

I want to know what things do we have to see when we buy a microprocesor.

What are the good speeds, what are the best microprocesor that exist.

I want to know everything about that.

Thank you very much.

i cant ofter any real help as far as CPU'S go as mine is old lol but i do know that ppl spend to much time on cpu ram etc and forget that the motherboard, it is what everything connects to so it would be best to research motherboards as well as a bad one will hold your whole system back

exeus is right...the mobo is like the backbone, the cpu is like the heart and brain, and the ram and hdd is like the stomach.

for cpu, you may want to read this

http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=64591

also read all the pinned-up posts

tomshardware has a great mobo comparision article, but i can't find the link to it right now..check it out though.

i recommend you a 2.8 Ghz Pentium (because its mine)... :D
I think its good and fast, but is very expensive. I also think you should buy a laptop and plug it on a network.

I think that the AMD are good n' cheap. You should buy a AMD.
