Im running an athalon xp 2000+ 1.67ghz, fitted into the architecture of the a7n8x deluxe (does anybody else curse at the bloody capacitors below the socket A?) ive got two case fans, one at the bottom bringing cold air in, one at the top blowing hot air out, and a tt volcano and all copper heatsink cooling down my cpu die, strangely my fan is best suited taking air from my cpu i.e. not blowing cold air onto it, none the less temp specs are -

idle
----
mobo -27
cpu- 47

load
----
mobo -30 (as a consequence of having the fan blowing the cpu hot air into the case)
cpu-48-50(rarely goes into 50s)

if you want to load your cpu and test its efficiency under the strains and test its heat dicipation capabilities do google for an app called "hot cpu tester pro" then crack it via usual channels

now, my a7n8x deluxe is a recent upgrade, on account of frying my previous board, i posted here about overheating issues and it must have been a faulty board, it was the A7v333 my mobo idle was 35, and my cpu was 58-60, under loads ive seen mobo go to 37 and cpu to 66, pretty nasty, im very pleased with the new temps ive achieved with this upgrade, post your temp recordings and tell us what upgrades were good for heat dicipation, and any strange goings on like my cpu fan working better in the opposing direction to normal use

whats your spec, to get an idea of how that temp fairs, it sounds pretty healthy, a little high, but absolutely nothing to worry about

Here are my temps.

http://www.uploadit.org/files/260903-temps.gif

My PC is on 24/7 and this is after 15 minutes under full load.

CPU is an AMD Athlon XP 2400+

Notice how slow my fans are running. I also have 2x80mm case fans that run at the same speed as the PSU fan.

I have it setup this way so that the computer is almost silent. :)

Edit: To add that that the CPU cooling is done with a stock AMD heatsink and an 80mm fan.

Well my comp is running kinda hot because of my Stock CPU fan/sink. Im getting.

49/53= CPU

33/34= Case.

But keep in mind, this is with the side of my case OFF!

My current temps are as follows.
CPU=41
mainboard=31
hard drive=28
My fam speeds are
CPU fan=4000 rpm
power supply=2800

I am running a Shuttle AK32A mobo with n Athlon XP2200+ (overclocked to 1933 mhz) with a thermaltake volcanoe 9 heatsink and fan.The current temp in my 8th floor apartment is 28 degrees celcius and that has an effect on my system temp.When I woke up this morning I saw temps of 37 degrees on the CPU and 27 on the board.

i fail to believe how you can cool a hard drive down to exactly the room temperature only using air cooling...:blink:

anyway, my current temps are approx 52 cpu, 30 mobo, 27 hdd

setup: athlon 2700, asus a7n8x-d, 80GB seagate 7200 rpm hdd, 120GB wd 8mb cache hdd

According to this program my computer should be frozen....

How do you work this thing?

According to teh program "hmonitor" my hard drive temp is 28 degrees.It only ever goes up to 30 or maybe 31 if it gets warmer in the apartment.
For that matter it is about 24 degrees in my apartment right now and my hard drive temp is now at about 25.

sounds a bit low, but at the same time normal, whats more important is your mobo temp...
