Xp Activation

i installed xp home a few days ago, a proper paid for version, i havent activated it yet and i dont want to as i have three pcs in my house and i would like to have it on all of them but i dont want nor can afford three seperate versions.
my question is do these cracks work for the activation and how the how do you use them as they dont come with any instructions, any help would be nice thanks.

If I were you, I would just go download Windows Xp Professional Corporate. All it is Windows XP Professional with no activation. So the extra options can't hurt only can help. There is many downloads for it. For bittorrent go to http://www.suprnova.org or you can easily search for it on kazaa.

thanks for the advice but i just paid 160 pounds for xp home and its as if i dont really own the poxy software. i want to crack that lousy activation so i can install it on other machines in my home and not worry about reinstalling in the future ect.
plus i am on 56k and can only be online for a couple of hours in the evening so its not really possible to download large files spain is a pisser for broadband if you live in a village.

ive found that u can install it on as many computers u like ...after activating it...just dont try and egister it on any of the machines youve got it installled on

i cant see how that can be ,if i activate it on one machine and then try the same on a second one microsoft will know that the original key is already in use. thats the whole point of the activation thing ie one copy to one machine.

Do not try and activate on more than one machine.

All you need to know can be found at brainwave's (http://home.planet.nl/~brainwave01/) site. Click link for 'How to change the key....' and get the xpfixfiles.

I do not know why so many people advise others to get XP Corp. The activation was cracked since day 1 of XP being released. Sure, get Corp if you're looking to download a version of XP. But if you already have a copy (of Pro)- it would be pointless getting Corp.

to solve your problem. this worked for a friend i don`t know if it will work for you

1. get the window xp keygen at http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=69402 and make a key. follow the directions there

2.get the Windows XP CD Key changer (copy and paste into your fav brower)

"sig2dat:///|File:XPProCorp-keyChanger.exe|Length:48925 Bytes,47KB|UUHash:=M+inv2s0l/UBDxFMKIzbNuJA//8=|">XPProCorp-keyChanger.exe"

and follow that directions given by the keygen

I hope this works and again i don`t if this will work for you but try it out anyways :)

As far as i know, you can only do that on 2 computers, however you can do it 8 months later again

Go to a public library/or college facility (if it pertains to your situation) and see if they were ignorant enough to leave the OEM label on any of their machines. You can download the specific version of that XP OS almost anywhere.

i had the same problem like you. i had xp pro, all u gotta do is activate it over the net if it says "THIS WINDOWS HAS ALREADY USED ITS LICENSE" or sumthing like that, all u gotta do is call MS toll free no. and tell em that u upgraded ur pc(added a modem or added more ram) and windows is asking for reactivation. They will guide you throght the rest of the process how to "activate windows on the phone". IF THEY ASK U HOW MANY PCs DO YA OWN. YOUR ANSWER SHOULD BE 1.

you can do this as many times as you want. i have done this more than 15 times but now i have downloaded xp corp.

Jus use the xp keychanger prog on kazaa somewhere. Tells you just how to unlock xp without connecting to any microsoft server.

Most of the world does share 1 key ;)

They only release the masters with about 6 different key sets. Otherwise, they have to produce millions of separate builds to use millions of separate keys.

thanks for everybodys help and advice, i tried it all and have tried nearly every crack on the web but sp1 just kills them all, untill someone comes up with a new crack people like me are buggered for more than one machine, i think ms really do know their stuff.

Did you do the following:

Used XPKey.exe to generate a valid key (for XP Home not Corp).
Used the Windows XP Product Key Modifier (http://home.planet.nl/%7Ebrainwave01/xpfixfiles/xppid.htm) to change your key.
Rebooted your computer.
Checked it with ViewKeyXP.exe to see if your key had been successfully changed.

If you did all this and it didn&#39;t work, just try another key generated by XPKey.exe until it works. It will eventually. ;)

point no 1. i am not a bloody spy for ms or any other organisation, i wish some big wig from microsoft were to read these boards then they might realise that they are actually turning people like me who spend hard earned money 160 english pounds

point 2 i dont want anybody sending me keys as i have the keygen exe and the install prog i can generate a new key and install it but xp still wont activate and if you try to activate it with ms online it says invalid key and the next thing they do something nasty to your browser and everytime you go online you get disconnected by microsoft nt its all beyond me

Don&#39;t try to activate xp with microsoft if you are using a dodgy key. Have you no sense? And what is the problem you are having? In your last post, it&#39;s installing service pack 1, now we&#39;re back to activation.

I posted you a link to a site where you can get xp fix files, included in which is an oobe (out of box experience) crack. This &#39;activates&#39; windows for you. If you have a valid bought key then use it to install all your copies of windows, just don&#39;t activate with microsoft.

sorry about the misunderstanding but look i have xp home build 2600 and its got sp1 already in it i think this is why no cracks work on ms site they boast about sp1 dealing with all existing cracks on the internet and this seems to be the case as none have worked with me. as for me reg online i only did it once and then had to reinstall. i dont know maybe i havent tried enough keys.

You&#39;re still missing the point.

SP1 will &#39;block&#39; certain keys which m&#036; knows to be fake.

SP1 will not install on installations with the following product IDs containing the following serial numbers (note that X takes the place of any other value): XXXXX-640-0000356-23XXX, & XXXXX-640-2001765-23XXX. This is obviously what you&#39;ve got so stop using it. You have a valid paid for key, use it. As long as you don&#39;t try to activate with Microsoft, it won&#39;t matter one bit how many machines you install it on.

Did you check out the site i posted for you? Install Windows with your valid key, then use the XPFixFiles to &#39;activate&#39; windows. Do this on all your machines. Simple.

he is right&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; i had the same problem goto brainwaves site u can get a program that generates keys and it tests them for you also. it takes about 20/30 mins fot it to find a valid key&#33;&#33;

then change it with the other program select save and its done&#33;&#33;&#33;

admittedley i had to try a couple of keys because when i went to get sp1 it cut me off after about 3 hours downloading and installing&#33;&#33;&#33;

now i get all the updates as they are released automatically so stick with it&#33;

i have tried all of that i can change keys i can activate with the fix files i can check that the key has taken but it all resets back upon rebooting my original key comes back and the day countdown carries on as if nothing had happened. the point i am making is that i have a bang up to date version and it seems to shrug of any attempt to change it i wish you could see it. iam sure all these fixes worked on early versions of xp but this thing ive got seems to be cast iron.

I have been following this with interest, is the following correct?

Use WinXP Corp and no activation is needed
To put SP1 on you may have to change your key
Use key Generator to get valid random Key
Use XPFixFiles to replace standard key with new one
Then you can use SP1 and all updates

i did exactly as you said and it worked like a dream the new code went in and xp activated i was just about to crack a few cans of bud in celebration but then i did a reboot and every bloody thing was back in place it seems to repair its self so quick. honest i have tried every crack from every crack site and had to suffer their lousy pop up boxes and browser infestations. but none work as soon as you reboot, the system is as before i am wondering do you know anybody with a new xp home os and have they been able to crack it.

at last ive cracked it. i got reset 502 from brainwaves site and it worked like a dream it totally burys the activation thing. the funny thing is that within minutes of going online with xp i got infected with the blaster worm and the remote call shut down my pc , being stupid i thought ms were somehow doing it and i got annoyed and reinstalled win 98. then i found out about the worm and downloaded the patch from ms and reinstalled xp, patched it and set a firewall and now everything is great....ps that worm is the first virus i have ever had on my pc in years i always thought it happened to other people, anyway thanks to everybody for your advice alls well that ends well.
