WTF are these things they keep popping up ever other second how do you stop these even if i am not browsing and playing a game these things pop up how do you stop these please tell me its freaky me out i am running windows xp

These 4 easy steps will turn off the messenger service used to send messenger service popup ads. The Messenger service is not related to Windows Messenger or MSN Messenger.:

Go to Start, then Run and type in services.msc Click Ok

Scroll to Messenger, select it, right click it and choose Properties.

Under startup choose "Disabled", then choose Stop.

When stopped, click Ok.

Get hold of "XP antispy".........those messenger ads probably arent the only things you dont want running in the background.

That program helps you configure XP so that you only have the stuff YOU want running...
