Hello all,
I just downloaded the newest version of K-Lite, and saw that the options list now enables an "IP Blocker" or something of the sorts. I know very little about how all this works, but since the RIAA and others track your computer using your IP address, will activating K-Lite's IP Blocker prevent my computer from being singled out?
Also, I am on a college universities network, and I use a wireless router (although I am plugged directly into the router, I am not using the wireless features). Will the router keep changing my IP address, or what are the advantages and disadvantages of doing this? Any help, advice, or comments are greatly appreciated. 10 students on campus so far have been contacted by the university on behalf of the RIAA and have been threatened with lawsuits. For now I am only downloading image and trial software, I just don't know if I should be worried or not.

Thanks for the help :)
