View Full Version : Internets Take Action To Help Oppressed Iranians Communicate – And You Can Too!

In case you haven’t heard, the Iranians are upset after being cheated out of a legitimate election. The Iranian government is making all attempts to censor those who would shed light on this election fraud.

* Gmail and GTalk are shut down
* Yahoo is shut down
* AIM is most likely shut down
* Phone lines are down
* HTTPS and other such protocols are down
* Iranian ISPs have been restricted
* They are trying very hard to close down
the Iranian connection to twitter and giving proxies they
control in order to track down people (fake proxies run by feebs)

These people are in danger need your help! Already, people around the world are setting up safe proxies for them to communicate. Here is a guide for how you can do the same. Be sure to respect these guidelines as it may in fact mean life and death for some people.

An anonymous group has formed and dedicated a web forum and irc channel to the cause.

As far as I know the Iranian government hasn't raised a report in the report section yet, so yes.

I'd like to reassure any Iranians out there that the FST team will never give out your IP addresses or tracker details to oppressive government regimes.

"We" shouldn't "help". It's not "our" fight. Let the country fight its own fight, outside people should not get involved here.

In fact, Iran's current situation could have been seen coming since Ahmadinejad decided not to trade oil with the west, and asking people it does trade with to pay in non-dollar currencies. He could not have been controlled, just like Saddam, and again the economic hitmen were sent in.

Yeah, wouldn't want anyone to trade oil in any currency other than dollars. Fuck you Iran, fuck you and other people suggesting using the Euro for oil.

How is the USA supposed to control World economics if people just go about using any currency they want.
