why do you have to preheat the oven for 5 minutes before cooking

Worst reply ever: Chipmunks.
No seriously. When you turn your oven up to...let's say 450, its doesn't start at that temp, it needs time to heat up to it. That why.

Cos when it says "Cook for 25 mins" that is calculated from a constant heat start to finsh :)
Simple as that really
Well, thats this thread dead

@Razor........it's easy if you concentrate :D
Try this for a head spin then.............
With your right foot make a circle on the floor in a Clockwise direction
Now with you right finger, draw a number six in the air
See what happens to your foot??

@ Junno,
Well I'll be. I knew what was coming yet was still powerless to stop it. But the #6...could this be merely a coincidence...I don't think so.

JONNO_CELEBS
09-28-2003, 12:49 AM
No not tip toe, when you walk, your heel hits first and your foot rolls down til it's flat, then your heel picks up.............well..........try it with your toes hitting first then rolling back to your heel, like if you walk backwards.............only do it forwards
Yes m8, I do play and Yes it is a Les Paul Standard B)

Very cool! I'm not going to dl anything now as I am still on 56k and it will take a while. I'll do it when I'm not busy. :)
Question....You're in the UK right? Wha tis the average price of a new LP Standard over there? In American $$$?
And Sweet Child O' Mine was one of the first songs I learned to play, and a classic tune. I could still rock out to that.

Well mine is actually an Epiphone with Gibson USA Pickups, so it only cost me £230 second hand ($400 ish)
A Gibson is about £900 ($1450 ish)
Don't know the rate so I'm guessing, I do know that you guys can get them a lot cheaper then we have to pay tho :(
Sweet Child was your first?? ..........What, Lead, fills and solo??

Ah. They are about the same price here in the states. And when I first learned to play Sweet Child it wasn't the whole song....I'm not like a virtuoso, (spelt right?), or anything. I first learned to play the intro....still one of the best ever intros...... then the chords and once I got good enough, the leads. Still have trouble with the faster ones.
Actually, the first song I learned how to play first note through last was Nothing Else Matters. And from what I've been told, my playing - while technically proficiant - lacks passion.
