Trillian Pro 2.0

Anyone else bummed about Trillian 2.0 and the Yahoo Messenger crisis? Cerulean Studios has released a patch, but it is not yet available on Kazaa. Anyone currently sharing this file?

Also, on my Win95 computer I can't get 2.0 to run. Even meeting the requirments with winsock2 update. I continually get an error "linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL: Shell_NotifyiconW". Anyone have a work around or fix for this situation? The same copy runs flawlessly on my WinME computer. I did find a reference to this on the Trillian boards, however this person admitted that it was a "warez copy" and no one else mentioned this issue who had a "valid" copy. A tech did respond saying it would be an unicode issue in Trillian.

Any suggestions appreciated...thanks.

The Trillian Yahoo Message crisis arises from Yahoo changing it's DLL to supposedly prevent spammers. Everytime you try to log into Yahoo! using Trillian, the program crashes.

I'm glad that someone has the patch, I hope it starts showing up on Kazaa soon :(

it's an open source instant messenger program that supports multiple protocols like yahoo,aim,ect...

If you need to get trillian running but can do without connecting to yahoo till you get the patch, you can edit the yahoo.ini file. Just change the value of "autoconnect" to 0

Actually, I am not disappointed in Trillain 2 at all. simple as that.
