I wasn't disabled, but my inviting rights were revoked, because I invited a person who already was disabled from the site for ratio cheating.
The funny part was when the person denied having an earlier account despite the ip matches, not to forget the almost identical e-mail addresses.

I actually banned from one tracker while i was uploader at there about reason being a staff member of another tracker just kid behavior this is explain something that some ppl really dont have brain ...

I had an account, that later got disabled because of inactivity, so I made a new one since I (obviously) did nothing wrong except being too busy for the site at that time. When they saw I was a previous member they disabled me, they were very harsh on one account per person per lifetime. Although I tried to talk to them, they wouldn't try to understand. A friend of mine that is in Staff there enabled me again, but when the other guy saw it he disabled me again, so I just wouldn't bother with it anymore since it was so stupid in general to ban someone that had an account before and was auto-disabled by the system then ban that person for wanting to come back to the site. Instead they let cheaters and traders run around like there was no order and punish people who are not out to do any harm.

But you suggest I ratio cheated, that is a lie, and if you're going to bring things up like this, at least be honest and don't lie. Acting like a child about it won't make anything better. Will it? Just let it go already. :)

lol if you get disabled on ANY site for inactivity, never create a new account. Go to their IRC and explain it, they'll check and 99% of the time re-activate you. Creating a new account will get you banned, easy does it.

funfile about 3 years ago cause of ratio cheating. I m still sorry for it. I apologize to all the members and staff there. I ve done a horrible thing. I had a low ratio and no matter how much I was seeding it was not enough. I was very active on irc and someone donated me a few credits to buy upload. All fine and dandy till my ratio turned red again and I couldnt download anymore. I was gutted. Then I ve decided to cheat and I was disabled. Gutted.
tophoss or something. About 2 years ago while they were on open signup I ve made an account and decided my RevTT was better and added my tophoss account on my giveaway list here on FST. They banned me for trading cause I had the same nickname as here. Stupid eh?

and I believe I have loads of other trackers pruned for inactivity. A few years ago someone hacked my torrents.ro account and he found my password. He didnt do too much harm. just invited a few of his "friends" on TTi and SCL. Since then I use different passwords on trackers and always forget them.


Well now I am here to make sure that no one will ever repeat my mistakes and, hopefully, try to teach them the right way.

The owner of S-P used to be staff on BCG, when we came back from a year offline, i joined there, But decided i wanted BCG back. An uploader of there was getting games bloody fast, so i PMed the owner asking if it would be OK if after he had seeded the release there, he could upload it onto BCG, just to help us get started again, Owner said, yeah np.

Some other staff got wind of this, and came onto BCG Pming members saying I was stealing uploaders from their site, blah blah blah. So i Pmed the owner again and he sorted it all out, but then the owner left not long after, and they kicked me out lol

BCG as well, i gave up the ownership for a month, but was always coming back, but only a couple of staff knew that. the one that took over didnt like the fact i was coming back (even though he knew i was) so he deleted my account, tw@ lol. hence why my membership on BCG is only from Joined: 24-November 07 and not 2006 where it should be from.

Other than those 2 though, i dont really join trackers, I joined the rabbit and revolt but deleted my rabbit account, and just let my revolt account slide.

When I was going through some tough financial times last summer, I couldn't afford to pay for internet any longer, and it was shut off on me. Like a moron I knew it was coming (not EXACTLY when, mind you) but still didn't park my accounts. I was offline for approx. 9 months, maybe a little longer.

I was disabled at waffles, what, RevTT, and Blackcats Games due to inactivity. With the exception of Blackcats Games I got my account back at all places by visiting their respective IRC channels and letting them know what was up.

Take this as a lesson, park your accounts if possible; if you are disabled, or are going to be away for A LONG time head to their support channel on IRC, most staff will help you out.

Lost quite a few 0day sites recently, some because I asked to be deleted, some probably because of grudges. Nothing I used or needed though, so it's only really streamlined my bookmarks.

I've had accounts disabled for inactivity on a bunch of sites and had accounts disabled voluntarily because I wasn't using them. Mostly just sites that seemed interesting and were open for signups. Getting disabled for inactivity on UG many moons ago was crushing, but of course I was allowed make a new account (that I've since been using every day.)

My first good private tracker was BCG. I got in through open signups. I did not bother to read the rules till it was too late and my ratio was really low (I had only been using private trackers before that). Anyway I realized my wrong doing and downloaded a big torrent and started seeding it. Just before I would have gotten the upload via seed points, I was disabled (the time meant for me repairing my ratio had run out). The next time I got in through open signups I took much better care of my acc. In fact I still have it.

Other than that I've only been disabled for inactivity.
SceneHD- I was a member before I got into HDbits, but I never like it as everything is rared there so it took huge amounts of space on my HDD.

TR- I signed on new years day (a buddy was convincing me to get into trance). I DLed a torrent seeded it for a while, listened to the music and deleted it from my bookmarks. I'm pretty sure my acc there is gone now.

And like Stellar, lots of sitesI thought would be interesting when signing up, but I lost interest in.

x264 for receiving invite in public giveaway here a long long time ago. I did not know it wasn't allowed. Thankfully staff was nice enough to invite me again after some time had passed. One of my absolute favorite trackers :)

I actually forgot my inviters name on a site once when I needed to know it.
Different name than I was used to calling him by, funny spelling ( couldn't spell it now it unless I looked it up ) and pressure and everything.

Anyway the thing is they confused me with some other dude and when i tried to have a talk with them i got kick/banned from their iRC channel 3 times without any explanation, not something you'd expect from a tracker like this.
It hurt at the time because i was looking forward to an extended membership there as i really enjoyed their stuff and talks.

long story long

i'd been a member of the site for almost 3 years and had no problems until about two weeks ago. i posted a question in their forums about RSS. i think using rss would be easier than their search function. i guess i wasn't the first person to ask about rss...i was actually the fourth. at some point one of the admins of the site came across my thread and thought that i was personally attacking him or something. he's one of those types who invests 10x more energy into preaching, "search before you ask," than it would have taken for him to simply answer the question. i logged in the following day and saw that i had a shiny red triangle next to my name--i'd been warned.

later that day i realized that all of my torrents from puretna had gone red (in utorrent). the tracker error message was "failure: unregistered torrent pass." this time i went ahead and searched the forum first. after about an hour of reading through every garbage thread that came up in my search i gave up. i made a new thread about the error message. by then i'd concluded that it was a passkey issue. i spent a good amount of time re-downloading alot of torrents (puretna has no way of keeping track of torrents you seeding or snatched) one by one so i could continue seeding them. the next day i checked on the thread that i'd made and saw that the same faggot mod who warned me was now bragging about how "somebody" reset my passkey. i made a comment about how lame "somebody" would have to be to do something like that.

and it goes on....

the next day i look at utorrent and see all of my puretna files are fucking red again!! apparently, one passkey reset was not enough. this powerhungry douche had taken it upon himself to reset my passkey again. i'm pretty familiar with the concept of hierarchy. this guy had no problem flexing his muscles and stroking his own ego. some people really get off on demonstrating their power and he's no exception. in fact, he even said so in one of his posts. by this point i was pretty pissed off but made a a serious effort to maintain my composure in handling the situation. i made a post expressing how the passkey reset was totally uncalled for the first time and even moreso the second time. i never attacked him with insults or name calling. i simply stated that i felt his actions were malicious and his sole intention must have been to piss me off. i kept it clean and made sure i wasn't being offensive. the last thing i wanted to do was openly flame a power-tripping admin and get banned for it. i'm sure he was disappointed when i didnt take that route.

few days later i noticed that i'd been disabled......the end

from what i've read here (fst) over the years i know that people conveniently leave out the main reasons why they get disabled from trackers. it's always for something silly like having a unibrow (according to them) but in reality it's usually because they were selling cheated invites to traders who were inviting the RIAA to host child porn on their servers.

if you are a member of puretna...feel free to browse the forums for posts made by kooftspc. you'll see that i'm not exaggerating or leaving anything out. i just summarized a bit to keep it "short."
i also will not compromise my professional integrity for an opportunity to name the admin responsible for all this shit. this post was not some passive aggressive way of me venting my dissatisfaction of how the situation was handled. if i really had any desire to flame them, i would have. but i would have done it there not here on fst......god knows i had many many opportunities to do so.

long story long

i'd been a member of the site for almost 3 years and had no problems until about two weeks ago. i posted a question in their forums about RSS. i think using rss would be easier than their search function. i guess i wasn't the first person to ask about rss...i was actually the fourth. at some point one of the admins of the site came across my thread and thought that i was personally attacking him or something. he's one of those types who invests 10x more energy into preaching, "search before you ask," than it would have taken for him to simply answer the question. i logged in the following day and saw that i had a shiny red triangle next to my name--i'd been warned.

later that day i realized that all of my torrents from puretna had gone red (in utorrent). the tracker error message was "failure: unregistered torrent pass." this time i went ahead and searched the forum first. after about an hour of reading through every garbage thread that came up in my search i gave up. i made a new thread about the error message. by then i'd concluded that it was a passkey issue. i spent a good amount of time re-downloading alot of torrents (puretna has no way of keeping track of torrents you seeding or snatched) one by one so i could continue seeding them. the next day i checked on the thread that i'd made and saw that the same faggot mod who warned me was now bragging about how "somebody" reset my passkey. i made a comment about how lame "somebody" would have to be to do something like that.

and it goes on....

the next day i look at utorrent and see all of my puretna files are fucking red again!! apparently, one passkey reset was not enough. this powerhungry douche had taken it upon himself to reset my passkey again. i'm pretty familiar with the concept of hierarchy. this guy had no problem flexing his muscles and stroking his own ego. some people really get off on demonstrating their power and he's no exception. in fact, he even said so in one of his posts. by this point i was pretty pissed off but made a a serious effort to maintain my composure in handling the situation. i made a post expressing how the passkey reset was totally uncalled for the first time and even moreso the second time. i never attacked him with insults or name calling. i simply stated that i felt his actions were malicious and his sole intention must have been to piss me off. i kept it clean and made sure i wasn't being offensive. the last thing i wanted to do was openly flame a power-tripping admin and get banned for it. i'm sure he was disappointed when i didnt take that route.

few days later i noticed that i'd been disabled......the end

from what i've read here (fst) over the years i know that people conveniently leave out the main reasons why they get disabled from trackers. it's always for something silly like having a unibrow (according to them) but in reality it's usually because they were selling cheated invites to traders who were inviting the RIAA to host child porn on their servers.

if you are a member of puretna...feel free to browse the forums for posts made by kooftspc. you'll see that i'm not exaggerating or leaving anything out. i just summarized a bit to keep it "short."
i also will not compromise my professional integrity for an opportunity to name the admin responsible for all this shit. this post was not some passive aggressive way of me venting my dissatisfaction of how the situation was handled. if i really had any desire to flame them, i would have. but i would have done it there not here on fst......god knows i had many many opportunities to do so.

It had nothing to do with the content. I left most sites. You should not take it personal because it wasn't.

And yes, I asked to be deleted on all the sites except from these (now 8) sites that I'm at. Why? Because I don't have the time, energy or interest enough to be at many sites anymore. I've always been on quite many sites, and I've always made use of them, not everyone torrent-wise, but if not, then in other ways. If I did not use an account - in any way - I have always asked for it to be disabled/removed. I can honestly not say I've been trying to collect, because everytime I had over 20 sites I felt very unfomfortable and stressed. I have always wanted the number down to 1-2 or max 3. I'm tired of the drama that comes with being an active member of many torrent sites. The drama is neverending and I don't think that will change. I was on IRC/Forums/Sites to have fun, to share files, to laugh and have a good time. So yes. I am no longer a part of the "empire" as I used to be. I've been in this game since the day TPB opened their doors. I've been on pretty much every site that has been known to at least a handful of people, and some that were not as known.

I've just come to the point when I actually can't stand to be in the middle of this extremely boring drama that goes on and on every single day.

Yes. I have been an asshat many times. I have upset people. I have trolled. I have abused staff. I have abused members. I have spammed.

A lot of people dislike, maybe in fact hate me. I don't blame them nor judge them for that. I've given them reason to feel they way they do.

Yes. I have borderline. And yes I have ADHD. I'm extremely impulsive. I get annoying and weird/mean when I'm bored.

But I can honestly say that I have never wanted to do anyone harm. I have done that nontheless, but I am sorry that I have. I want everyone to know that they are all good people although me may not agree on everything or be the best of friends. But I can't say I disrespect anyone in the torrent world. We're all people. We're all pirates. We do what we believe in. When we should all really come together and fight for our cause we instead go to war with people that are fighting for the exact same thing as ourselves.

You can see this an an apology to everyone I ever did any damage to, hurted, annoyed, made angry and many other reactions. I hope they realize that I am not a bad person. I am far away from flawless, I have a lot of things to do to be a better person in this community and in the world itself. I hope they will come to understand that too. I respect everyone although I might have acted in the complete opposite way. Even my arch-enemies mitch and Feeling. I know they are both good people by heart but we could not get along. That's how life works. Some people you will love, others will repulse you completely.

I think it's very sad that you punished my inviter for something that had nothing to do with him. I did not cheat. I did not trade. I did not insult your team nor site in any way. There are a few honest, decent sites that still are worth having any respect for. The exact same sites that I will stay on.

I don't know if I ever will return the bittorrent communities including IRC and forums again. I might. Perhaps I won't. But right now, and that's all I can say for sure, is that I don't feel like going back. I will obviously still leech and seed but that's it. I'm leaving the torrent-related forums as well. I might pop in some day and leave a comment but I doubt it.

A huge thank you to everyone that has been a part of my torrent-life for all these years. I'm going to miss many of you. Good luck to every induviduals, tracker staff and all the other people that will still be around.

Disabling someone for similarity in usernames or emails is not considered best practice (at least IMO). Now if they had more substantial proof I could understand. Usually one needs a decent enough reason to ban someone... at least that's what I've learned to do.

There are so many lame private invite-sharing sites and absolutely anyone can make an account, chose whatever username they want and then do what they want: trade, cheat, scam and the "true" owner gets a*sef**ked. And stupid gheezas who becomes staffer overnight in some lame trackers ban the poor lad who doesnt even know what hit him. But it doesnt stop here. The cowboy staffer wants to build a name for himself, and goes to other trackers: "I am founded TRADDER ban him rapido". And this is how you loose trackers which you like, maybe paid good money for a decent seedbox and seeded as much as possible trying to be a good user. Hey, this is BT world drama. Its good to know lads that this happens quite often and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Now, I agree with you that most of the times the ban is well deserved and no one will ever admit he/she cheated/traded/scammed etc but there are also honest users, who get banned because the staff wont bother to check if it was really him/she who should be kicked off the tracker, while real traders swap hundreds of accounts everywhere. This is what happens when you choose your staff by their IRC activity or I don't know some other stupid thing like total upload. Why considered being guilty until proven innocent when he's got the same IP for years, seed alot to keep a decent ratio and use the forum? Oh, and btw I wonder what staff will ever admit that HE was wrong and admit in the support channel that he banned the wrong user? Not many ! They got thousands of users, they dont care about one silly bollocks, its easier to kick/ban you than to really check if you are guilty. I have to add some info: Dont you think I ve said all this about the what admin. Actually I ve found what.cd staff to be one of the most reasonable out there. I could have been disabled many times by now, 1st cause some of my rips were not according to their quality standards. Ive only recieved a warning, when their rules crealy states that a few bad uploades will get you banned. And i had more than a few... Then they spared me when I ve invited someone who had an account there before and was banned for trading. I have to thank them for that, and I ve made sure that he was banned everywhere I ve invited him. I had so many plans for that kid, but he really dissapointed me. He could have gotten so far... but hey, this is the life :)

I never said that. It's important to keep in mind that we don't know exactly what kind of other proof the staff had. I think you'll find that staff on most trackers work hard to ensure no mistakes are made and when they are they're more than happy own up to it.

Even when people are guilty most staff will give them another chance if they are honest and admit to what they've done wrong. You'd be surprised how far a simple apology will go.

Regardless of the rights and wrongs in this case I don't think its fair to paint tracker staff as ban happy power hungry dictators. Sure sometimes mistakes may be made and some staff may not want to admit it but in my experience they're the minority. Most staffers are fairly level headed mature people which is how they became staff in the first place.

I would also be wary about jumping to conclusions from a screen of an alleged IRC convo. They're easy to fake for a start and who knows what was left out ;)

I haven't read the whole thread, but I know where you're going with it. Tbh, if you've been banned and you know you didn't do anything wrong, then FST is not the place where you'll get help, simply because 95% of trackers hate FST and their staffers come here only to catch traders.

There are other sites where I've seen this kind of things resolved (most fairly quickly), but I'm not supposed to mention them as it's against FST's rules.

I was a member over 4 years and was disabled for political polemics.

ScT - I protected a friend against an exploit supported by ScT Staff. I said something impulsive about Feeling in another channel that I shouldn't have. So now I'm IP Banned. I don't care though, sure, it's a good tracker but I still get what I need. :)

What.CD - They banned me because I had a "fight" with another site. I created a topic politely asked to be removed and everyone started to troll like there was no tomorrow. I got angry, said something back (Not half as insulting as them, though) then I actually made a thread in the forum with my apology for posting a reply that was harsh. They banned me and What.CD banned me because of that incident. I am very sorry about this because What was one of my favorite sites and I did not act that bad. I tried to be polite but that's hard when 15 people flame you... :frusty:

That's the only 3 I can think of... The other sites I asked politely to be disabled. If they were refusing to do so I gave them reason to do it, so to speak.

I'm all good with the sites I have left. Some were afraid I'd do the same there, but I never would because they have treated me fair and I respect them even if we'd get in a fight resulting in a ban. I would try to appeal, if impossible, I would leave it at that.

I did not cause troubles on the sites that were respectful enough to disable my account on request. Should you even have to fight for it? Just shows the complete lack of respect for the users. :dabs:
