Gta3 - Replay Function?

Ok wheres the replay function in GTA3? I remember reading reviews saying it exister and i've seen screenshots with "replay" in the top corner so it has to exist. Thank you...

Hit the F1 Key after doing something worth watching.. there you go, you're now watching the replay. Use your mouse to move the camera view around.
Let the replay run until it gets to where you hit F1 and it'll return you to the game... or if you dont want to wait till then, hit F1 again to exit replay mode.

Here's another one I dont think many people know...

When doing the Firetruck missions in GTA3, instead of rushing about like a wally, try this:

Get into the Firetruck, start the missions and wait for the text to tell you where the first fire is.

Instead of driving to the fire, stay parked at the fire station and hit the good old F1 key. As it goes into replay, hit F1 again.
The fire will now be out and you will get paid, even though you haven't moved an inch!

Wait until the text shows the location of the next fire. Do the F1 thing again.
The cash reward will multiply every time you do this.

Repeat until fed up or your cash is maxed out ;)

How do you do wheelies on the motor bikes on the PC version for vice city??? Cus I could do them on the PS2 ??

The last 30 seconds of gameplay is available as a replay to play back at any time.
To use a replay:-

F1 - Replay the last 30 seconds of gameplay.
F2 - Save the last 30 seconds of gameplay as a file.
F3 - Recall and show the last saved replay file.


To do a wheelie let off the gas, then push down and hold it, then hit the gas again.

Thanks Nightwolf.. I was wondering if it was possible to save a replay in GTA3.. Dont know why I didn't try using the other function keys, though... :rolleyes:

If u set your configuration then u will know how to do it.

Tip for people who don't setup configuration: Use the same configuration for every game (unless u have a controller) that way it won't be hard to play the game.

I always wished you could save replays to you hard drive as an avi or mpg, but you can't. If you really wanted to, you could do that with FRAPS (http://www.fraps.com/downloads.htm) though.
