hello i would like to know wat is the best program to compress files cause i downloaded a game and it was 12 meg and then it told me to open up this .bat file which unzipped some file and it had music in it and it added all up to 64 meg? does any1 know or seen wat i saw? <_<

That test is made on old versions. For exaple the currant verion of winrar is 3.1, and they based it on 2.8 ;)

usually with rips they convert the sounds into MP3 and then use uharc

the article sharedholder linked to didn&#39;t include 7-zip, which makes has good .zip compression and it&#39;s 7z format isn&#39;t half-bad

WinRAR is awsome, i use the multi archive feature.. then i compress the compressed archive files into another file.. This actually does the maximum amount of compression for a file.
