We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

http://i42.tinypic.com/fxxedw.jpg

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Story developing...

Meh. He peaked at Thriller and that was 20 years ago.

The only thing that kept his name in the news was his freakish looks and pedo ways.

Can't say I'll miss him.

it may sound raw, but this is the only possibility he had to be remembered as an idol.
because all idols die early and of uncommon causes.

other than that, he would be remembered as a notorious paedophile, and as a black guy that wanted very badly to be white .

He was a part of some freakish scandals, and had freakish looks, but nevertheless, the void he left in the music community will always be there..
May his soul rest in peace..

Doctors have confirmed that he was largely composed of plastic.

Instead of being cremated he will be melted down and moulded into Lego.

That way the kids can play with him for a change.

Im not condoning his alleged pedo behaviour but...
When he paid Jodie Chandler 18.5m to go quietly he gave up his good name, and when he was charged again for the same crime most people (me included) were incredulous. .
can I just say, any mother that signs over their kids for money doesn't deserve to be a parent, so I will have to disagree with youthe mothers who let their kids stay at his house should be on trial too.

Cant believe some of the disrepect here, the guy is probably the greatest selling musican ever he changed the face of music.

People call him a peado but he was never convicted of anything and thats a FACT.

People say he is a wierdo which i agree with but that does not change the fact he did Thriller etc, u saying the crap today like lady gaga and shit has anything on billie jean????? Every musican on radio today has been influenced by MJ.

Some people are just plain Haters, if u cant see what he done for music (forget everything else) u must be fools.

I didn't like his music, or his dancing, or his videos, and I didn't like his image as a person as was projected onto me against my will by the curse of vast amounts of media coverage.

I'm not going to pretend that either of the above is not true now that he's dead.

That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. Just because something is popular, doesn't make it correct.

I also don't get this hate towards him. You didn't like him? OK. why bring it up now that he's dead? Ha was a person and ''innocent untill proven otherwise'' still applies afaik.

If the system is corrupt, the people should do something. There are instruments allowing them to do so, they're written in the constitution. I'm talking about the US here.

Back to MJ. I didn't like his dancing either and I was not particularly fond of most of his work. But give ''Rock with you'' a listen and you'll see he was actually quite good.

Michael Jackson inspired many.

His Thriller album, produced by Quincy Jones, is the inspiration for the modern Music Video, simply because the Thriller video is unique, and demonstrated how to use the film makers art to boost a song's appeal.

Wacko Jacko peaked at Thriller, but he still went on to make a number of influential songs that people still hum today.

He did get some bad publicity of his child abuse allegations, yet nothing substantial has ever been disclosed. Unlike the likes of Gary Glitter, who has served time for this derogatory behaviour, nothing substantial has ever been presented.

Many people, like myself, feel that Jacko was, indeed, trying to relive his childhood. We all know the story of how his father would beat him if he didn't perform perfectly, and how his own childhood was stolen from him, so it's no surprise to discover that he wanted to relive the days stolen from him.

It is often said that true geniuses have some sort of mental instability (there is a thin line between genius and insanity, as I well know), and his was that he found it difficult to converse with other adults. He was very much the child he should have been, and has never grown up. Anyone who watched the interview with Martin Bashir will remember how child like Jacko was.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/2719763.stm

I don't think that Michael Jackson really found happiness. I think that he was tormented throughout his life, which was made worse by money grabbing parents out to make a fast buck from someone who was a child at heart.

He made fucking music videos. It's not a case of whether people like his music or not, it was just over-hyped pop pish. He didn't even play on them ffs, like the man said a singer and a dancer. He was basically a variety act.

Like somebody said,if you really didn't know michael just take some time and listen to his music, almost all his songs were either about love or some social issues, music that you won't mind your kids jamming to.That alone plus the fact that he prefered robotrippin over doing crack very much leads me to believe that michael was indeed a kid at heart.

Of course he's not dead.

They took him to the Children's Hospital by mistake.

He rang his brother and said "I'm in heaven".
Shortly after that he had a stoke... ;)

:drummer:
And shortly after that he had a stroke...

RIP MJ. We've lost a great musician.

What did he play exactly.

The skin flute, obviousment.

A black man with a vanilla face.

Geez, I thought those were faggots.

In the picture, I mean.

You know...bundles of sticks...oh, nevermind.

So is he really dead do you think?

Of course he's not dead.

Genius, that.

I will use it, with proper attribution, of course.

I've just had idea.

I'm now fairly certain, I could get my 7 year old to join this site and infiltrate the bt section.
Within days I would have invites to all the top bt sites and he'd probably make bt mod in a couple of weeks.
My only worry is that he was never really into the tellytubbies, so he may struggle to understand the advanced use of gibberish.
It'd probably give the lad a confidence boost to, he's a bit dim for his age.

Do you really want him to turn into a smarmy cunt, though?
