Turn Off Tooltips In Xp

I am tired of having the Start button tell me "Click here to begin" No sh^t!!

I did a google search and all I found were reg hacks to turn of all the tool tips in the start and program menus. I am running XP Pro SP1. Is there some easy way to get rid of these?
