I tried on three machines and did notice a dramatic difference but still playing around . Others might find it slower but I doubt it , its final not Beta .

Hmmm, after surfing some sites, I can really tell a difference. This is a dramatic increase, though it is still no where near SRware Iron.

Bloody Germans , no sense of humor always over engineering everything . I tease , as SRware Iron has no addon's worth mentioning or tweaks like Porn control ( I mean privacy control ) .

Yeah, Iron is really lacking. I will for sure stay with FF as I value my plugins, lol.
They make my browsing more efficient and productive.

Hope it's as good as everyone says.. At the moment I'm using Chrome mostly because of the speed and the clean design.

But now I have to test the new FF :)

Screwed up my tab settings, and I can't remember where they were set.

Really?? There should not have been any changes....I think.....
I had no changes in my settings, and I have very 'tuned' settings.

Downloaded FF 3.5 a few days ago.

I'm overall pleased with it.
I like the Private Browsing (like IE 8 has), fixing the Gmail "long load-time" bug, and the small speed boost.

Ah, sussed it out now.

One of my add-ons (Tab Mix Plus) wasn't compatible but Firefox 3.5 didn't warn me about it for some reason, although it warned me about others that weren't compatible.

Used MR Tech Toolkit to make it compatible and everything is ok now.

finally updated my ff to 3.5.

i honestly don't see a difference in speed. the privacy browsing is sumthing i don't need. when @ work i manually clean my browser out with CCleaner. dragging the tabs for the purpose of another window is sumthing i won't use either.

so far, the only new option i like is the built in plug-ins for streaming videos. be4, i had to installed wmp plug-ins and ie tab addon to get certain videos to work with firefox. now, that's not the case. nice option. i'm sure there's more security and other functions i'm unaware of and/or don't use on an everyday basis so if ur a ff user u mite as well update.

currently i'm only using 4 addons and a 3rd party theme.

addons:

1. add block plus
2. forecast fox
3. flagfox
4. no script

i'm sure there's A LOT more i'd prob use, but i just don't care and haven't looked into anymore.

any other addons worth checking out?

Check out NoScript and if you are a web developer, check out FireBug.

"AnyColor" is pretty good, i've got my browser blacked out to match the vista aero default color.
