After no vacation for the past 6 years, I'm trying to plan a trip to NYC to wrap around tickets for Eddie Izzard's appearance at Madison Square Garden next January 16th.

Stoked I am.

Why, that's excellent, then.

How much better could it be.

Ah...how's the ubiquitous forum vegetable been.

Thought (hoped, really) your "use by" date had...oh, why am I still typing.

I really should find you and buy you a professional assessment while I am in the city.

Oh, pshaw.

He says all these things while wearing terrific make-up.

It's the difference between him and, say...Nancy Pelosi.

I think he's pretty good and you have to admit they don't give garden shows to people that they don't think will sell the place out.

I drink whiskey so I don't have to piss overmuch, and I can do "up n down" for as long as required.

Don't know what else I can say.

The foil is protection from the denizens of NYC, not Eddie.

A random thought...
I wonder how Eddie would fare walking down your Main St.?

Do you mean, could he walk from one end to the other without being accosted?

Probably.

I need no protection from the "denizens of NYC".

Gee whiz, you speak as if I were totally anti-socialist...I hang out here, ffs.

I rather imagined Kev's main street as three log cabins (18 miles apart), a couple of chipmunks and a moose that took a wrong turning at Alberque.

Except instead of log cabins, they're government surplus Quonset huts, the "chipmunks" are squirrels on meth and the "moose" is a station wagon of tourists from Arkansas.

I rather imagine Kev's life being like The Big Lebowski. With Kev being the guy played by John Goodman of course.
