I know the latest and greatest is office 2003, but has anyone figured a way to get updates (ie sp1-sp3) for Office XP? Mine just says it has already been modified by other means and quits.

in my experience you cant "update" windows office software if it "cracked"

Yes, it can be done.

Note that you need the administrative service packs for this to work. Both are linked on these pages. I'm guessing you're using the OfficeXP Pro with Frontpage. This will work no problems, as long as you follow these instructions.

Oh, and there is no SP3 for OfficeXP. ;)

If your suite is "legit and kosher" then you can update the entirety of the bundle just by either clicking the appropriate link in any single one of the applications or by clicking the link set-up in the first page of your "windows update" software.

They do work. You have to download (save it) the message body that's all.

You're welcome. And don't forget, it does work, as long as you follow exactly the instructions. Also don't forget the normal service packs won't work, you'll need officeXP sp1a and sp2a.

Is your name from Giants: Citizien Kabuto? The smartie?

EDIT:- Yes, online updates do work. Mind you, i download them manually and install myself. Bollocks to Office Update.

The name is actually from South Park. Sometimes I feel like the little non PC kids on the show.

Duh. Of course...

Anyhow. You should get Citizens Kabuto. It's a brilliant game that got brilliant reviews, but somehow never sold very well.
