Lately i ve been trying ( and i mean really , really trying ) to download songs from my Kazaa-Lite i use:
KaZaA Lite [K++ Edition]
Version 2.1.0 ( Based on KMD 2.0.2 )
K++ Ver.2.0.3
Build Date April 18th, 2003
But lately all the songs people are sharing are f*&@ing loops, bleeps, scratches and stutter in the songs. Now how is it possible that there's thousands of users with songs that have all of the above and keeps them in their shared folders? Are these people retarded?? Dont they hear the songs once they download them? About 2 years ago i was using eDonkey to download movies, songs, etc. but the donkey is so slow then i started using Kazaa Lite and its way much faster, and until a few weeks ago Kazaa had all the songs without the loops, scratches, etc. , but now this is way too FU*&@NG RIDICULOUS ... Can some one please tell me what is going on? I am sharing over 2340 files and i SWEAR that i am going to take my files to eMule or Edonkey if this crap doesnt stop.
Please some one explain what is going on??
thank You

it is the RIAA. their sending out bad files to discourage file sharing. I get quite some of those too.

Because the downloads are started and stopped so often they begin developing "quirks", also I've found that some software (like the Shareza media player) doese'nt play some otherwise fine files correctly. Try using windows media player with the files first or get rarer copies.

The RIAA has massive server farms dedicated to corrupting MP3s on Kazaa.
They even admit it...
This is ALL the more reason to BLOCK RIAA hostile ips in KL++ AND keep that blocklist up-to-date!
Also, IF you're sharing music, disable browse host which lets others list all your shared files.
ALSO, you can avoid many Kazaa scanners just by blocking KL++ access on port 1214 and running on an alternate port.

Sadly ... yes :(
Frustration and anger usually does that, so i haven't been a regular at the forums, but i've been sharing files for a very long time ( for about 3-4yrs ) i used to run Napster ( oh the good times :D ), then Bearshare( OMG :huh: ). But then i found down the road eDonkey and reg KazAa ( eeeww :o ),and i was running those in 2 separate PC's, and then came KaZAa Lite ( a god send :lol: ), so i've been in this " racket " for quite sometime, so forgive me if i am way too pissed off that i didn't want to do a search on the forums or even check to see if this has been talked about, BUT i would like to THANK those that have given me a useful answer ... instead of the quoted answer above :P
