Hey all,

I'm pretty new to this advanced P2P stuff, but luckily for me I was recently invited, and joined waffles. I used it fine for a few weeks with Azure and had no probs. Then firefox simply started not being able to load the page - I'm on a mac and I just get the page with a yellow triangle and the try-again button??

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is where I have been directed by waffles via my friend...

Cheers....

Well first try a different browse like IE. If it works you may jsut have to clear your private data in FF and try again.

It works for me in FF and Safari. Did you try Safari?

Thanks heaps for the speedy replies guys.....

1. I've tried and am constantly trying IE as well as Firefox, but no luck
2. I cleared the cookies and cache as suggested

Still no luck :(

Any more ideas?

Thanks again....

What error message do you get when you try to open the page in Safari?

Just the same standard error message I get if the net is down. Except in both IE and FF I can load ANY page except waffles? wierd.

I've actually had a friend load it fine using my login info from another location.

I'm sure it's operator error, but I just can't work out what I've done to stop that ONE page from loading up?

- Double-click the Hard Drive icon > Applications folder > Utilities folder > Network Utility program.
- Select the trace route tab and enter https://www.waffles.fm/
- Press the “enter” key and wait.
- If you see a series of asterisk rows, stop the trace

Edit: And don't let friends log into your account from different locations. You may end up with no account at all.

Polarbear,

I did as you suggested and got the following:

Traceroute has started ...

traceroute: unknown host https://www.waffles.fm

Didn't see any series of rows of asterisks though......is this good or bad??

Sez, I get the same error whether I include the 's' or not, and prior to my trouble I could log in either using the 's' or not and it didn;t appear to make any difference?

Cheers again for the help.....

Bad.

Could be a DNS problem. Try to enter 80.67.2.5 in your browser and traceroute.

Also flush your DNS cache:

For Leopard, type in your terminal: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache
For Tiger, type in your terminal: lookupd -flushcache

80.67.2.5 in Browser --> Wow!....it works now....Thank you so much...

Terminal --> didn't get to it as browser was successful, should I bother??

I have no idea how all that clearing works exactly, but what can I NOT do in the future so I don't come bugging you guys again?

Cheers again for the assistance....

If it works again you don't have to flush your DNS cache.
