How do you become a moderator or manager? Any advice would be helpful.

Post news and you could become a news poster/moderator. Post NZBs and you can become an NZB poster/moderator. Be really active in the BT sections and you could become a BT Moderator.

Other than that, just contribute to the site and follow the rules and you will be helping out.

Doesn't post count determine the credibility of a user.

Post count is the number of posts that you have made.
It is not a guage of the quality of those posts.

Wear a tie but with none of this half baked Windsor knot crap .Use the Prince Albert technique .

And shine your shoes with a combination of insect repellent and mineral spirits.

If that doesn't work then bribery is always an option.

I'd put one of these :rolleyes: things but obviously I'm dead serious.

It's quite simple actually. Wait for a staffer to reply in a thread and then say the following after quoting him/her: ''That post explained everything. I think the thread can be closed now.

PS: Don't do it too often, they may get on to you. They're smart!! :P

To the topic starter:

Helping us out would be your best bet. Ie adding or updating the WTO table, making suggestions for the WTAW list, reporting ads right away instead of spamming in the ad thread. You could post news and nzbs as well to get noticed.

Otherwise you'd probably have to become a regular poster on the board, and then you might be recruited eventually to replace other mods as they lose interest and drop off.
