I don't use any, I need all the ressources for myself :angel_not

Looking not to get infected, so hopefully I haven't been on a huge scale yet.

I usually have a new one every second week.

Right now I'm using KIS 2010 and it seems great.
Before that was Norton IS 2010 which was fantastic also.

Whenever I'm not using active projection I just use Malware Bytes/Dr. Web and some other on demand scanners and do a scan every week or so.

if your smart you shouldn't have to worry to much about viruses and the like.

There are plenty of sites around the place that post up new keys on a daily basis. Like you said though Kaspersky is quick onto them so they only last a couple of weeks at the most generally.

I use KIS and Avast here. I've used AVG before, but it would give too many false positives for my liking. KIS I've got on one machine because I get a free user license from my work, the rest of my boxes use Avast, and I haven't had any issues with that.

Last time I used KIS it was a real pain in the arse. Not using anything at the moment.
I normally only play games on my Win7 partition, everything else I do on my OSX partition. Works for me :)

For free AV's I use avast and avira. NOD32 is quite extensive, and possibly offers the best protection for paid AV's.

I use Avast professional and Spyware Terminator. Both, working fine for me.

I use Avira . The free version will now scan for spyware too. Only down side is a nag screen which can be easily disabled anyway. I install this on every computer I have to work on and rarely get called back.

I also do weekly checks with malwarebytes or super anti spyware

I use ESET Smart Security 4. I've tried many others over the years, and ESET is my current favorite for being quiet, smart, and efficient. Not a bad thing to say about it yet (been using it for about a half year now).
