Triadcool...I can totally sympathize, it happened to me 3 times as a kid. Once we had to move where they didn't allow dogs and once our black lab had such a hate for the mailman that we had to give her away. The last straw was when my ol'man married a lady who was allergic to dogs and the neighbor's kid ( who I despised  ) got to take it away when his family moved to the prairies.

I decided from that moment that I wasn't gonna have any interest in a dog until I moved out on my own. And the good news is, I haven't been without one since the age of 23. :)

So, the day will come when you're the one to decide what's best for whatever animal friend you choose to make a part of your life. B)

Sorry your father was an asshole, mate, but my father's not an asshole and neither is my kids' father. Sure, your suggestion is a nifty one for ceasing the world's population rise but it's not entirely sensible. Men become fathers if and when they feel ready to handle it.

Unfortunately though, a lot of boys become fathers too. <_<

Yup, that's true. And some of them do OK...a lot of them don't. So again, it's an individual decision.

Fair enough, FC.....and it is a shame that some girls/women will fall pregnant on purpose without warning the men that it may happen (ie: they're not on the pill). So yeah...be careful, boys!

And I reckon I can take a subject and turn it to sex in less that 3 moves. My mind is always in the gutter......

Wow Ella, you look pretty grown up for a 4 year old ! ;)

Also, at great risk of being flamed and banned and possibly kicked in the groin.....are there any pictures lying around of your nipples exploding with delight ?

We're not speaking here of the old "Yule Dog", are we?

The kind you throw into the fireplace while singing carols and such?

Never much went for that tradition, myself-I can't sing a lick.

PS-I love animals of all types and stripes-got four cats within arm's reach right now. :)

Thats too bad about your dog. My girlfriend had two dogs, both of whom were put down within a month of one and other. They were really old (14 or 15 years old) and sick. It was a tough thing for her to go through as she had gotten them when she was 10 years old. I hope some day you can have another pet.

If it makes you feel any better, our cat still doesn't like anyone.
