i know they are..but it doesn't give anything away, sometimes the forums here can give light to what is going on. sometimes admins hang around from various sites.

I seriously doubt that any staff give explanations here -or wherever- before than in their own site, if like in this case they can do it there.
About what happened, itīs a mystery. Not a single word has been told. :blink:

Anyone have suggestions on a good replacement?
How about Demonoid? Invites seem to be tough to get.

Yeah, I have been a member of filelist since 2004. It was my favourite 0-day site for movies and TV shows. They always had quick releases and they were always the best quality ones, no crap torrents. It doesn't look like they are coming back. It is just really strange that they didn't have any explanation from mods or anything about the disappearance of the torrents.

I too am trying to find a good replacement site.

the sysops were on vacations, that's why it lost all the torrents.

When I try to get in to file list, I get a message saying that the server not found. Are they out of business, or they been forced to close down???

Think I was a member there four years or something, it was great back then and alot of competition with torrentbits since Filelist wanted to beat them on pre-times. It was a nice nostalgic backup site incase others shutdown, think I had a 2.8 ratio with over 2TB uploaded so losing that much invested in the site kinda sucked too.
