Lots Of Forum Members Are Critical To Klite!?!

It seems to me that many of the most active members of the K-lite Discussion Board actually don't like K-lite very much. Am I right?

If I'm right- Why join this board?

If I'm wrong - at least it seems to me that no one uses it for music or movies.
For what do you actually use K-lite???

For me this is RIIA'S new strategy all those topics are started by newcomers that put those topics and then dissapear.

We have developed into a forum for people who love to share,regardless of what program we choose to use.

Best to keep the RIAA and other scum guessing.

well when I first joined I was the kazaa addict then the infamous "Screechign fake files" came up I psoted for an album Blur Think Tank to try and get it and I thank 2 members Nemo and Luca Snipes who directed me to soulseek which now I only use for music.

I then used kazaa for movies then found you either got a fake or no source on a varfied then discovered bit torrent and use that for movies now

so theres where the problem is

it's not like I hate the program its the lack of good quality files espically 192 bit I only get now 128s seems to be still standard for kazaa

I like k/l and still use it,honestly not quite as much,but not far off.If i know theres just as much chance as finding and downloading a file with k/l as any other prog,i always use k/l as first chioce,besides for music,I never download mpegs,(s)vcd,so k/l's still pretty good for me. :D

I still luv Kazaa, but it does not meet my horror movie needs, that's why u will find me on DC++ more often than Kazaa..

I still share my movies on Kazaa , but i tend 2 share more porn now than anything else... I will use Kazaa until it dies...

I use Kazaa Lite quite alot for download software, movies and music. I find it is a great piece of software, but the only downfall is that its not open-source. That's why i'm beginning to use software such as eMule and BitTorrent.

I like Kazaa Lite, but I'm mostly here because the other forums I visit usually ban people who talk too much specifics about file-sharing. Here I just don't mention specifics about what I have in case someone's watching. :ph34r: I mostly use KLite and ftps/IRC.


And Shareduser, to think those guys are RIAA accounts is pretty paranoid. They're forum n00bs, trust me, a lot of people honestly don't know what Kazaa's status is and this is a good place for them to ask. I mean hell, I've been accused here of being an RIAA spy. In fact, was that you? :P

I'm kind of limited to just klite at the moment, don't get me wrong its great and depending on what you go for very fast and convenient, but it not being open source and the fact that we can't really affect/alter the network is quite annoying, because kazaa is clearly slipping behind in terms of technology and may be going the way of Gnutella.

I have checked out some of the competition and find it very nice to have all these alternatives. If you can't get what you want on one P2P network - you'll propably find it on another. But so far, I guess, at least 75% of my 200+ gb good quality music collection comes from K-Lite (although I must admit - I have have no idea about how many Gb of fakes and low quality stuff I have deleted over the last couple of years - both from Fastrack and other networks) :)

Still Use It To Download Singles (Mp3'z), Older movies and some appz
and of course share stuff
Still Use IRC and Bittorrent And Emule And DC++ to get other stuff.

dude, we all love klite. klite was like our first step. it made us into the filesharing pirating scalywags we r now. but klite is great for beginners, but we've gone past that. :pirate:

The original programmers of KaZaA are now working on something else. Some kind of internet phone service for broadband users. Don't expect many big new technology developments on KaZaA :unsure:

But if programs like shareaza get good, we'll be in good shape. Shareaza's got bittorrent support

i use whatever program will get me the file faster.....but i use k-lite(for music) and bt(for the rest) i do use others but only for files i cant get on them 2 B)
