If you want to use speech quotes and then end the sentence with a question mark, but the quotation isn't a question, how would you write it?
For example, is this sentence correctly structured?
-- Have you ever thought to yourself "That's a load of rubbish."? --
Should the question mark go after the quotation marks and should there still be a full stop at the end of the quote?
Any help would be fab!
