Just a question, does anyone have come across a website that lets you login
with ur news server account and let you download content trough a web
interface without having any client stuff on your side ???

I was just wondering.... any idea ?

if no one ever seen that, do you think that is possible ?

I'm not thinking so, you can can use SS and not have a the web site to download content, I don't know about not having a client, SABNzb comes close, but it's still uses Firefox as it's gui.

You mean using a third party site to download from a usenet server (presumably to their own servers) and then you download it from them? Why??

Anyway, Easynews (http://www.easynews.com/) offers a web interface and you can download binaries directly from easynews servers in your browser. Expensive and poor retention but it's available.

Because im lookin' for a kind of script like that, so we could share
content of usenet with a bunch of friends on a forum or site
without them having to buy an account.
But the content won't go in any server,
it would just stream or some shit and then the guys could grab whatever
they want... ;)
And we could upload on there with just one account that allows sharing :D

i guess that shit must be hard to code if it's not there already,
but thanks for replying and giving me an example. :)

Its possible but only if your willing to pay for the bandwidth

and thats not cheap .....
