What are some good dark comedies? I enjoyed The Chumscrubber and Fargo, I bet there are alot more out there I don't know about.

Another couple Coen films Raising Arizona and Barton Fink

Gross Pointe Blank,American Psycho( it's really a comedy) Very Bad Things (black as pitch),Office Space,Bad Santa,Swimming with Sharks,Art School Confidential,Trainspotting,Igby Goes Down,Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ,Election, 2 Days in the Valley.

a little/lot stranger Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ,Brazil,Happiness/Welcome to the Dollhouse,Secretary,Delicatessen,Adaptation,Man Bites Dog

and great older films Network,M*A*S*H and of course the greatest of all Dr.Strangelove but I don't know if it's a black comedy so much as a satire or is that the same thing ?

If you haven't seen it I'd try Gross Pointe Blank. Some of the other movies are better but it's similar to Fargo in that both the comedy and the dark parts are very apparent and if you don't like the scene with the pen then there is something wrong with you. Also I know that you are into music and GPB has a killer ( if at times dated) soundtrack

Ah I've seen Raising Arizona, it was ok but don't like Cage so didn't find it that good. American Psycho's one of my fav movies and Office Space and Trainspotting are great too.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'm gonna check out all the ones I haven't heard of cause the ones I have I've enjoyed. Will check Gross Pointe Blank first, had never even heard of that before :D
