I have a German Version on XP pro installed right now. I bought the US version but can't get it to install. I think there's something to the language. What do I have to do to get the US version installed and running.

by install do you mean on a seperate partition/harddrive? or over the top of the german one?

if you have fromatted c and that was where you boot files were NTDETECT.COM ect i cant really see why there would be a prob what is the actuall error?

Language atributes not found German (DE) needed but not found

ok a silly question here are you sure your c drive is devoid of all files?

No question is silly. I just checked and no there was a few files and NTDETECT.COM was one of them. OK thanx for the help funny I did a format. it's running now thanx again sometimes I feel stupid
