The best in some ways funny - nice made with nice music - and worst
horror film, more in some ways funny but good not a situation you wish to be, was Ghost Ship!!! Really a good movie!!! The first scenes on the ship, when the line goes across the people like a knife, it's not nice, I do not know if I would feel it - probably the shock is to great/big - but it is good made....

... means: worth to see...

thanks anyway, david.

Driller Killer

What a load of shite, 1st thing wrong, "Re Released after 20 years of being Banned"...........you don't see anything but red splats

2nd thing wrong..........this film is about a guy that kills with a drill right, so he's out in the street killing people right?.......With a drill?........this was made in the 70's.........electric anyone??...........Thats one hell of an extension cord <_<

btw, when this gets moved to MovieWorld, do I get a post added to my total ? :D

Jeepers Creepers was absolute rubbish, although come to think of it, I dont think it was a horror just a cut scene from sesame street... ah well.

no, it was about some kind of hitchhiker that killed people. barry norman of film 90 whatever fame said it was tone of the best he had seen. obviously he must need a brain, the film is a total pile of crap.

it was in places, but i did not think it was good, but my opinion of course. it same with texas chainsaw massacre, i did not think that was that brilliant. one i did like though was amityville horror, that was very good. One i watch a lot is halloween 3:the season of the witch, i just love that one because i love to take piss out of the song.
3 more days to halloween , halloween, 3 more days to halloween, oh shut the fuck up. god it annoying but fun.

Loved that movie and still do. Richard "Bull" Moll as the sorcerer. There are just to many bad horror movies to just name one.

How can you slate Driller Killer, it's an Oldie but a Goldie!! Without that film there would never have been The King Of New York or Bad Lieutenant. Another banned classic is Scavolini's Nightmares In A Damaged Brain - really good old horror film, worth seeing ;) . As for the Worst Horror Film, it a toss up between Scream 1,2,3 or any of the shockingly bad Nightmares On Elm Street series.

jonno, In Driller Killer the psycho fella uses a "Battery Belt" to power his drill, perhaps watching it again might be of benefit.

I quite like Reanimator and From Beyond, pretty fucked up  !!

The first movie that ever scared my is 'The Exorcist'.

There are 2 more episode, but i haven't watch it.

It's not really scary anymore, and it's kinda funny..

I can't think of any other scary movie..hmn...

THE RING!!!!, that movie was alright!

i have seen a lot of banned horrors, or horrors from the lste seventies to mid eighties. the time when a lot were being banned. here is a list of what i have seen that i can remeber and how i rate them.

maniac - 9 out of 10(this been by far the best i have seen of the banned ones)
The Exorcist - 5 out of 10(only a few good scenes in it)
driller killer - 6 out of 10
nostril picker - 6 out of 10
the burning - 7 out of 10(a young holly hunter was in this one)
drive in massacre - 6 out of 10
the mutilator - 7 out of 10
that a few i can remember. Some more i cannot rate because ages since seen them. graduation day, pranks, superstition, and bad medicine(or behaviour i forget title second name). there is maybe even more.
i also seen all of the return of the living deads, all the other dead films and much more. Driller killer does not rule, maniac is far better and the eye too, i could name even more. As for the first nightmare on elm street that is another classic.
if you want good horror you can not go wrong with the greats dario argento, lucio fulci and so on, now they are horror. i think the most gory one i have seen of argento's was INFERNO, man was that gory.

Cellar Dweller and Elves (about nazis breeding elves to win the second world war - and grizzly adams is in it) are definitely the worst ive ever seen.

As for the Worst Horror Film, it a toss up between Scream 1,2,3

Please, Scream rewrote how horror films should be made and is the template for every slasher film since.
