hi!

I'm experiencing some problem when downloading files via IE 5.5 (Win98), everytime I clicked on a link (for download), the FILE DOWNLOAD window appears with OPEN, SAVE, CANCEL, MORE INFO buttons to choose from, but if I press OPEN or SAVE nothing happens. Can't seem to download files unless I right-mouse click the link, but that only work with some webpages.

Any ideas how I can resolve this problem?

TIA!

Just guessing, but you could try reinstalling the browser. Or while your at it, upgrade to 6.0

IE6 will replace your IE5. Mozilla or Opera can be installed to use as an alternative browser without uninstalling IE.

Seriously, you need to go with Opera. Its very relible and 5 times faster then IE6.

The link to it is.

http://www.opera.com

Check it out, only 3mb just like IE6 but a hell of alot better.
