So, was wondering if anyone was able to help me; or able to advise me...Internet was working fine a while ago. Even had a few of the ISP technicians out here(which they said it was my computer, yet I doubt it).. Problem is, internet runs slow or not at all, in normal mode. In Safe Mode, it runs perfectly fine, well almost...sometimes it still runs slow...Like in normal mode, downloads are ok; but browsing the internet is next to impossible.. Ran CCleaner, and NOD32 is always on/scanning...

Do you have a wireless connection or use a lan card ? Might be worth it to switch out the lan card just to be sure its not your end .

I hate those ISP tec fucks they send out to check . its always " our end " . Not necessarily , if your hardware is ok and your sure your virus free ...

Here's a couple of things I'd try if hardware is ok .

Trojan Scanner : http://www.simplysup.com/

Online scan : http://www.google.ca/search?q=online+scan+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

Hijackthis : http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html?tag=mncol;pop

I would also reccomend trying to run some checks such as hijack and posting back on the forums. Everything running well in safemode sounds extremely suspicious. It may also be possible (not sure) that if a virus is live and well it could bork your AV software.

Well Rart your a hour late and a dollar short , I already suggested Hijack .
Your right of course and I'm just bugging you , as till we isolate a hardware problem were just guessing .

I'm not an expert but have seen some weird shit with lan cards lately , internet connection one minute gone the next . Onboard failing for some reason , driver issues not sure ?
