What i meant was there is a limit to what you can find and download. i have triewd looking for quite a few things and havent found them on here. Thats why i&#39;ve got Emule as well :rolleyes:

That&#39;s the funny bit, I think it was either a download through KaZaA, or something through ICQ.

But I didn&#39;t accept any transfers over ICQ, or download anything else than MP3&#39;s
So I figure I was hacked or something, since It tried to lock my comp and took command over my mouse and did lots of funny things. My antivirus can&#39;t spot it either, what I did now was remove all files I found suspect of those that were created today.

I saw that an extra process was running too, but it took command so I couldn&#39;t investigate what it was.

I think I&#39;ll have to go through my registry or something.

It&#39;s the damndest thing, I&#39;m behind a firewall and everything.

That almost sounds like what happens when something on my system decides to run an automatic update.... which is why I have all of em turned off. <_<

I don&#39;t let my system do that, period.

It seems to have passed now, so either I got rid of it or it&#39;s dormant for now.

It kept doing this on upstart as soon as I&#39;d started my comp when I tried to startup with an external connect, Even when I did it in safe-mode.

I hope it wasn&#39;t anyone here, but the thing is kAb&#39;s comment came right before it hit me, and that made me extra paranoid.

Edit: at first it started when KaZaA was on, so I&#39;ll see what happens when I start it up.

It seems to be gone now, I&#39;m on KaZaA now, it pisses me off though, and I&#39;m fairly certain whatever it was, was intentional, the way the mouse pointer behaved makes me fairly certain. I&#39;ll have to update stuff this week and close a few ports on the firewall I think may have been the problem.

And go through my registry myself, since none of my proggies can find anything.

Hello again, I figured out what it was, it&#39;s a virus I think, which is messing with my mouse drivers, Pushing buttons at random, and making it do stuff.

For now I&#39;ve done some fiddlin&#39;, I figured out it only hits PS/2 connections, so I&#39;m using my serial for now, the annoying part is I&#39;m havingto use a trackball right now.

As long as there is no PS/2 mouse input everything works quite well, if it receives a siganal it adds to it and distorts it I think and the process seems to start and stop at irregular intervals, I&#39;ve never seen anything like it, now I&#39;ll just have to track it down.

Well I&#39;m not sure if I&#39;ve purged my system, but I appear to have removed whatever activates it, I think.

Not sure though, time will have to tell, now I&#39;m waiting, if the process pops up again I will be back to trying to fix again.

Meanwhile I&#39;m waiting for an update for my antivirus that can get it out, or the next time I reformat, whatever comes first.

It&#39;s really disturbing when something gets your computer, when you think it&#39;s fairly secure. My current theory is that two of the girls at school sent it to me, I don&#39;t think it was on purpose though, but everything happened right after that. :huh: <_<
