hi, i just downloaded daemon tools 3.41 today and i read somewhere that its supposed to let you play games that ive downloaded off of suprnova.org

well i installed it and i dont have a clue as to what to do next, could someone please help me and tell me what to do next

has to be a ready to burn format like bin/cue or iso, nrg ccd, ect
then you click the icon by your clock and mount image
all it does is save you the hassel of burning the disc, it mounts it on a virtial drive

alright, i went on mount image and i clicked on the 1st half of the file because theres 2 and i clicked ok and an error message popped up , it said

"Unable to Mount Image. Cue Sheet: No tracks specified."

so what do i do now

try just mounting the bin not the cue
you might have to change the drop down box (file types) to bin or just all files then click the bin

ok i tried clicking on the in and no error message popped up but its not doing anything , a little box flashed real quick and thats it

and i didnt do this

k, good no just explore your new cd you have
right click start button
explore
you can also find it under my computer
once you find the mounted cd, run setup

im looking for the mounted cd and i dont know where to find it, ive already looked under my computer>C:>program files>D-Tools

and i dont see it

Daemon Creats a Virtual Drive so look for another CD Drive on your My Computer

PS: Easier to just burn it on to a CD-ROM!

i dont see anything , theyre all the same, i dont see anything new, is there something i did wrong?

ok there's suppose to be another cd-drive in your My Computer thingy dont you see one if you dont then... um.. i dont know what to do... but if u have a burner just burn image using NERO and its presto u can jsut pop the cd in your cd-drive and your DONE!

click the icon by your clock, it will tell you what virtual drive letter it mounted onyou could also try un mount all drives and try again
I don't think you mounted it, cause it would normaly start up as if you burnded the image the put it in you regular cd drive

yea i know i can burn it but i dont really wanna waste a cd on a game so thats why i got this thing but now this isnt working, also it says you need a 1:1 and i dont think i have that could you please explain

woah , alright i found a drive "F" i think thats new but it says "insert disk" everytime i click on it so what do i do now?

i DID mounth it but it keeps saying it , i right click on the icon, click on virtual Cd/DVD rom and then it says device"the name of my game" , so its mounted , is there anything else that i should have done? like should i change the amount of drives or something?

Well if you have found another drive and it does not show as having your game on it then you have not mounted the .BIN file correctly. So right click on the D-Tools icon again and go and mount the .BIN file again and it should auto start the virtual drive and you game should pop up as if it has just auto-started like a CD-Rom would.

OK have you tried going into My Computer and right clicking on the new Drive and clciking Explore ? see if there is anything mounted on that drive ?

If not I would say try installing D-Tools again but to be honest I would say your doing something wrong or the .BIN file is corrupt somehow.

alright i explored drive f and it says please insert a disk into drive f

im thinking that the game i downloaed off of suprnova is corrupt so im gonna try downloading a diffrent game and see what happens

its kinda hard getting it corrupt cause bitorent always ways verrifieds and checks if anything is corrupted and redownloads that section so its pretty 99% chance its not corrupted

what game is it, bittorrent doesn't do that, kazza does but not bittorrent?
also did you reboot after you installed deamon tools
after that un mount all drives and mount it again

the game was mid night club 2, and now im trying red alert 2 yuris revenge and i mounted it and i clicked on the new drive and its not working, it keeps saying insert disk

shit, double post, yea i didnt exactly what it says but the diffrence is that when i click on ok after i have selected the cue file, it says

"Unable to Mount Image. Cue Sheet: No tracks specified."

look at the first pic
see the second box
click the second box and chane it to bin or all files
then choose the bin file
it did fully download the games, I mean it said finished right :unsure:

hm.. maby your cue sheet isn't working change ur cue extension file to txt
then edit it by putting

FILE "nameofYourfile.bin" BINARY
TRACK 1 MODE1/2352
INDEX 1 00:00:00

just copy and paste that and put the name of your bin file there! oh and change it back to .cue

oh yeah u did finish donwloading the game right.... that might be the problem if you didn't....

that shouldn&#39;d be what it sayes :unsure:
try clicking on the icon by the clock
on the device 0 [ f ]
then monkeys first pic
then box should come up
then change to all files
then find the bin
click it
the deamon tools logo should flash
that shoud be it
it should act as if you burned it and put it in a normale drive
but if not you should be able to explore drive f as if it were a cd in the drive then you can run a setup program

alright i did what you said and now when i click on the drive it says " disk is not formated ....windows cannot read from this disk. this disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format thats not commpatibel with windows"

well i just realized i cant burn it cause it needs 2 discs and i dont have 2 discs, well anyways do you guys have a hash link to red alert 2 yuris revenge? lol i really need it
