Regarding IPT....shit loads of contents & Its not difficult to maintain a good ratio

Unless you have a seedbox do not choose Sct. Either go for SCC or TL. Both have good pretimes and a lot of content

I couldn't disagree more strongly, for the casual user ( and by casual I mean someone who doesn't view torrenting as a hobby) ScT doesn't have anything to offer that the stated sites don't.

TL,IPT and RevTT all good sites with decent staff the main differences being only IPT has some freeleech and allows Adult torrents. RevTT has a little less content and on average is a litle slower to up things( which can sometimes be a good thing) than the other two .
Given one choice I'd go with IPT because of the speed ,content and the helpful freeleech ( that's on some good new things too and not just pointless crap) ,plus it definitely seems be on the rise .

I think the main factor to look at TL over IPT is that the speeds on older torrents might:unsure: be a little better.

Of the 3 listed, I'd go with TL ftw.

Those 3 are all pretty comparable. I have the impression IPtorrents has the most torrents, but it gets the least amount of regular 0day scene uploads (correct me if I'm wrong). TL and RevTT probably have about the same # of torrents but TL has no porn so if you're not into that it might have more stuff you'd want.

regarding me i like IPT because its have a high content , and the ratio easy to maintain

may i find a high speed in TL , but the speed increase or may be equal to other trackers even a public tracker if the seeders are enough

90% of people who are begging for an sct invite because they think it is awesome have no idea what they're getting into. Unless you like having everything an hour early and you have a seedbox and some time, you will burn at sct.

I would say that is largely true for most trackers except SCT. On SCT you need at least a 20/20 line in order to seedback 1:1 in a respectable amount of time. When I had only 45Kb/s I would have to seed for several months in order to get back to full ratio on that torrent.

The only thing that saves you on SCT is the packs and contests which I think they aren't doing anymore.

Also if Feeling comes back to read this thread please bring back the contests. I know the guy that was in charge of handing out rewards was swamped but maybe he can bring on a small team to help him with the process.

Yep, the packs help a lot, that's what i was referring to and that's how you can keep a good ratio there with lower connections (and yeah, i used to seed from a connection like yours, maybe even worse) ;)

And btw... my definition of good seeder is not grabbing something and delete it after a few days or weeks, but keep it seeding for as long as possible. (months or even years)

I let my account expire on sct after getting rid of my seed box as did not have the speeds for there,amongst other reasons.
But I personally think ScT is for experienced users who have good connections :)
They are a good bunch there and fair but to me it was better to use the odd other site as I rarley use torrent sites for 0day stuff now any way :)
But back to the topic and the 3 choices I would choose IPT out of the three listed even tho new there and have spent a loy more time on the other 2 of the yrs.
No wait times being a main reason, next statement will make a few people mad I think ;)
To me sites using wait times these days do it to boost donations......

If you know what your doing, keeping a good ratio on ScT is not that hard. Just use common sense...don't jump on old torrents, keep an eye out for packs or any release without a pre-time as they are FL, and also keep your ScT d/ls seeding for a good week or more. If you use your head it's not hard...especially with the .75 d/l multiplier, your only required to seed back 75% of the d/l to break even.
I've only ever used a seedbox for ~3 weeks, and that was about a year ago. :happy:

If you have IPT, you can cancel your RevTT and TL account and no need to think about it.

If you don't have IPT, be with TL. ;) coz RevTT is F**ked up. sorry but this is my honest opinion about RevTT :P

I am only on 55KB/s up and always have been. I have well over 100GB buffer on ScT just from keeping some season packs and partial movie packs in my client forever. Granted some of the single episodes or movies never get to 1.0, but seeding packs helps with that.

While having 55KB/s up sucks, I don't need more to keep well afloat on any site. Just keep seeding and it gradually grows.

RevTT may not have the content like TL and IPT, but there are some cool people at RevTT. Thats one of the things I look for, I like to chat & post with nice people who all respect each other. :yup: Mean people are teh suck :fist:

pretty big fan of RevTT...all options will have basically the same content, I max out my home connection at all 3...TL and RevTT I think have better retention on old torrents. I like RevTT's community and mods the best :D

the biggest difference imo is that IPT have the seed bonus thing included...it makes seeding torrents much easier and imo also increases the longevity of the torrents...that for me is a big problem on RevTT...many of the old torrents are barely (if at all) seeded...the problem's the same on TL but atleast they have a larger user base so that helps
