Ares troubles lately

I have been using Ares Galaxy for years. Lately though I will be at "connecting..." and it will never connect.

Is this a problem on my side or is the network/software having troubles as of late?

Is there another good alternative client that uses the Ares file sharing network?

Ares is a dump its been acting like that for almost 2 half years......

Supposedly the client doesn't have working contacts, you can try to refresh them.

The files shall be extracted / copied to the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ares\Data(depending on localization / language) -- Download: AresData.zip (http://refreshares.re.funpic.de/AresData.zip)
