Is a BRRip high definition or is it just a xvid ripped off of a BluRay at normal quality? An example is

Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen 2009 BRRip XviD AC3-WHiiZz

It is an encoded xvid but that version I believe is 480p which would not compare to the quality of a be a untouched blue ray at 1080p.

BDRip means the source that was used was Bluray instead of DVD....so no it's technically not Hi-Def, but IMO, BDRip and BRRips always look better than DVDRips, and yes there still in XviD format, which makes them playable anywhere.

Mostly depends on the encoders filters used.

I don't like "[Release-Lounge H264]", I love SecretMyth

a brrip is what a xvid is to a dvd, but to a bluray of course. so quality suffers but hey its not 50gb :)
