directed by Sylvester Stallone. this movie leaks high concentrate of testosterone. so many ppl playing in this film. jean claude van damne was supposed to play in this, but he said no. seems dumb of him or smart? first movie for Arnold Schwarzenegger in 6 years. let's hope for a great movie!

I saw bootlegged trailer of this movie and it just depressed me. It looked really bad, sigh. I'm hoping I'm wrong but I got a bad feeling about this one...

It's been a long time since Stallone made a good comedy.

Impressive ( this isn't a joke remark btw) but I wonder what he's done to get rid of the old person loose skin on his body?
I mean the face ,well you can see the effect of the plastic surgeries ,but no way in hell does a sexagenarian ,fit or no ,not have a lot of loose wrinkly skin on his torso.
Fact of nature is skin looses it's elasticity . Look at Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler ,he's arguably in as good a shape as Stallone and a decade younger and he's still got the wrinkles.
So what's the deal?Drugs?Bathing in virgin blood? Contract with the Devil?

had never heard of this until i saw the trailer a week or two ago. i honestly thought at first that i was watching a fan-created mashup of scenes from old action movies. the whole idea just seemed too funny to be real. perhaps says something about the amateur, fanfic-ish nature of mainstream movies nowadays... when major studio movies are easy to mistake for uh, amateur fan fiction.

jean claude van damne rejected this? You'd think he'd jump on just to be in a movie that is released in theaters... Anyways.. I hope this good, I want to see Arnold acting again!

Why do they put actual bad asses (couture) in movies? Just because the guy can kick anyones ass, doesn't mean it's going to translate onto the silverscreen. Bad acting just makes a bad movie

Arnie only has a bit part in this,a cameo , Couture is an ok actor from what I've seen of him, no worse then van damme for dogs sake.
this storyline has been told before with chris walken in dogs of war

Should be fun for an hour or so,so long as you take your brain out before you sit down.

i liked it. it's more or less and upbeat rambo film. fast fighting sequences, arms getting chopped off and shit exploding in the back ground is what you'll find here. sly and jason are the main characters in the film. all the others just play filler parts. jet li is overpowered by the big white men and big blacky saves the day a couple times. mickey's just cool to have around and dolph plays the under educated loaf. all that being said "I" was never bored and the movie went by fast. semi-hot chic, lots of knife throwing, and a cool truck. 8.5/10

I'm looking forward to getting some time to go see this... I'm expecting nothing but 100 mph action, some cheesy comedy lines and the interaction between all the stars to be a good laugh... fingers crossed I'm not going to be disappointed :)

Actually, no, not that it mattered even if I did.And in the military, I was a paratrooper. I am very proud of being a soldier. If you don't like it or respect it,that is on you. However, I'd be very careful your next statement about us.

Mate, I'm military myself and learned long ago not to come out with statements like that... I'm not saying mr. nails is (it could just as easily be someone else reading this)... however, all you do is open yourself up to trolls, get into an un-winnable argument and waste time trying to justify or reason with idiots :) lol

What was the old saying about discretion and valour? :yup:

I agree with discretion, but I disagree and will defend what I am about and what I believe in til I die.And I also did say it is on him if he doesn't like or even respect it.I know what I have done and what I have seen, I am in no way looking for a fight, I just do not and will not tolerate disrespecting what all who served and those that died have done and those that continue to fight.
