Hello people!

<Waves>

I'm not mankerdead! I'm just being a stepmum and going canoing a lot. Hows you all?

Hey CG.

All good. Just got back from a fine party on the Heath.

Which is easier? The canoing a lot or the stepmum thing.

I'm thinking about taking up canoeing, but I may change my mind depending on your answer.

Good to see you. :smilie4:

The stepmummery is definitely the hardest thing I've ever done.

Take up canoeing. It's fantastic! I've got one an inflatable and an open apache and they are both fab. The inflatable like the one below is sturdy, practically un-tippable, and great in slow or fast water. I've taken it down grade 2/3 rapids and it's been fine.

The apache is way more tippy but loads of fun still.

Want a kayak next, so I can zip about more. It's all canoe madness here!

Sounds like win. I did a bit in France with the missus a few years back. Had a whaling thyme. :smilie4:

We went down a few rapids, fell off a mini-waterfall. I nearly drowned, then got run over by a boat and crushed against the riverbed. Somehow it was still orsum. Probably because I survived.

I'm going to canoe in the future for sure. :smilie4:

I don't wanna risk giving him aids or something. I've got a bit of a cold.

I've seen a vid my brother sent me, that's about it.

Hey, CG. How's the quitting going? It's been 8 months and a bit (since quitting smoking cigs).

If you have started back up - it doesn't matter. If you've been on and off - it doesn't matter. You'll do it one day. I did. You're smarter than me.

Makes sence, obviously.
