Is it me, or are graphic design books hard to find?

I've found out that there are very few good graphic design ebooks out there. When you do come across them, they are usually old, about basic web design, or just collections of logos. I've been trying to find good design ebooks on typography and most of the leading books are not out there. I understand computer tech and "geeky" books (star wars/trek, harry potter) are more popular with people online, but you'd think some people out there would like design.

I'm having the same problem with design books. i hear bitme might be a good place to look if you can get an invite. Textbook Torrent might have a few very popular books. But if there is some design book cornucopian out there i don't know where it is. Might also try something like filetopia.
