View Full Version : Ram Leaking - Ne Good Software ?

hi, my pc is running REAL slow, im on windows ME and i was just wondering if ne1 knew of a good proggy for freeing up ram, i think this is the problem. ne suggestions r gladly welcome lol ty :)

I just today started trying Cacheman, on the advise of J2 and Lamsey.
We'll see.

Probably the best thing you could do is ditch ME...

A friend of mine just switched from ME to XP Pro.
He made no hardware changes/upgrades.

Says it runs MUCH smoother and faster...

M.E is known as for having major problems...i use XP Corporate and i aint ever going back to Win2000,ME,98 etc

yep, the answer is to upgrade to 2000/XP - ME doesn't give RAM back for some reason
if not you just have to restart every now and again
