View Full Version : Having difficulty finding content....

I have read the forums here and tried several suggestions to solve the problem I am having. I am looking for specific content on usenet that I cannot find.

I won't mention files or content as this is not the place for requests, but I am growing frustrated.

I have tried binsearch and IRC requests. I have been PMed in other places saying that the content is indeed on usenet, but searches are not finding what I am looking for. I am using giganews and agent.

Any suggestions as to where else to look for what I am searching for? This is mainstream content. It simply has to be out there somewhere, I am missing the group. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Try nzbmatrix/nzbsrus/nzbs.org/Merlins portal. Autoindexers are a lot friendlier if you have the exact release name.

Use NZBIndex.... Go ahead and say what your looking for.

I really do apologize, I hate to come into a new forum and ask for something, but I need to learn how to find things.

I feel pretty stupid right now not being able to find any of the four listed models or at least a trace of where they may be posted. I am simply looking for clues as how to better search. Some of the suggestions I have gotten here are helpful and I plan to continue to learn.

Thanks for taking the time to post the nzb sites and possible directions to search in.

Right I did that and see how the files listed are three months old? Content is out there, but not current. I am trying to locate the current group.

Even though Usenet is my first choice for downloading, I often end up downloading from other sources - Torrents, ed2k, Rapidshare, even Youtube - whenever I can't find an item on usenet. Which is probably most of the time.

If you mean 'current content'.. we've proven that there isn't any, on top of giving you the group (name) where that content is posted.

You want us to come over and download it for you too?

Sorry didn't realize your were looking for porn...no offesne, I take back what I said, if it deals with PORN or Nude or Models, it's not this site...please no porn. Also, there are tons of Usenet sites for porn, maybe some meembers can help ya, but again, please no porn, nude models, anything of that nature, we try to keep it clean, although somewill argue that we have content that's exactly the oppsosite of what I just said

First, I am sorry about searching for content that is forbidden here. I didn't want to mention the content itself, just places that I could search for it. Second, the links and areas I was directed were areas I had searched. I am still looking. This is content that was posted for over five years, I doubt it would suddenly disappear three months ago. I suppose it is possible, but unlikely.

Thank you all for your input.

Search filenames too.

I know ABGX/a.b.movies.divx don't have the release header.

Download a cracked version of Newsleecher and use the supersearch feature. You should find what you are looking for. Also I have a few sites you can try just drop me a PM.

It never hurts to join a few private sites. Sometimes the only copies you'll find on Usenet OR Rapidshare will be posted under cryptic titles, so search engines are therefore useless for finding them, but private sites and NZB indexers will often list those 'hidden' files.
