Just found this forum. Actually excited to read about other torrent sites. I use a couple but am looking for a certain site, but cant find anyone with any invites.

I am a p2p developer looking for a home.

I have just been banned from Zeropaid.com.

They don't like users talking about anonymous p2p there.

Anyway I am based in London and like a lot of people have always wanted to develop my own P2P application.

Unlike a lot of people I have.

Its called kerjodando and it hides users online identity.

It works by accessing a website Dargens (Norwegian for Today's Special).


Well its now working - a new Bit Torrent type anonymous p2p website.

What I have done is to added a Bit Torrent type tracker to an existing anonymous p2p client (ANTs p2p, open source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANts_P2P )
this allows users to specify who they want to connect with.

Say if you were into ANIME or HENTAI and you wanted to share files and proxy files with others with a similar interest then you would go to itsDargens.com and create a swarm stating that.

You would send that swarm address (like a bit torrent link) to those who you wanted to join swarm.

Also other users could join the swarm by searching itsDargens.com say for ANIME or HENTAI so finding your swarm page.

To connect to your swarm a user just clicks the START link on your swarm page and it launches ANts p2p but with a filter that only allows them to link to people who have also clicked on that particular link.

After that it is the same as ANts p2p (searching and downloading) except that it is much FASTER and fairer as you provide proxy resources for those that share your interest!

Also, if you want to set up a private swarm that only you could invite people to then you would set your swarm as private.

The search would then not publish a link to it. You could then invite users to join by telling giving them the secret private link by email or private message.

Also, you can join up to two swarms at the same time if you register as a user.

This allows swarms to be linked forming a huge network of content that can be accessed anonymously.

I think personal pictures have to be less than 100 x 100 px, and avatars have to be less than 125 x 125 px :unsure:

Also personal pics can't be animated.

have downloaded a few albums but never uploaded one. I realise this goes against the fileshare ethics but i just haven't sussed out how to go about doing it.

Depends on the software you run.. I suggest LimeWire and it is setup to share a folder of choice on install! LimeWire is free and LimeWire PRO is a small one time payment

ii) how will this effect my pc?

It wont (as long as your on a full duplex connection) you wont even know its working in the background as the upstream and downstream are dedicated

it uses only a few KB of memory on most "GOOD" software.

iii)What are the risks?

No more risk than anything.. like anything on the internet use a firewall (not the win XP one) get good antivirus software.

sharing a folder will not in any way affect PC security as users can only download the files you put there!

NOTE: anybody with the ability to crack your PC will be able to do it with or without sharing! On the other hand not sharing is asking for someone to mess with you just because its a pig thing to do and all Leeches should die a slow death!

Also there is no network record of your sharing is P2P

iv) what's the best site to get punk rock?

depends who is logged on.. LOL.. GET LimeWire for MP3 perhaps you can share some punk with me!
