Some weird goings on

I'm using a quite old version of eMule (24b 5b+) and i'm getting the following error
messages

1. "Your IP is part of a filtered netblock"

2."WARNING Your eMule client is too old. This server(and others) may put you in jail!
Upgradel" :o

This version had been working great but now i get these warnings.

Anyone know why i'm getting all these probs all of a sudden?

Cheers

I was just wondering when someone would say that

I may do just that, but i was happy (and it working great, stable etc) with this older
version.

I just thought maybe someone had the same prob in the past...then again maybe
no one uses this older eMule ;)

Btw is the latest mule decent at all? Heard it has a few bugs of sorts.

Hmm, ok i'll give it a whirl then :)

Still would like to know what those error messages mean if anyone knows, especially the 2nd one!

Some of the servers have banned the older clients because they "behave badly on the network".
I think it's just too easy to get around thier queues if you're inclined that way. Honest users couldn't get any sources.

I too have been receiving this message, but still use my old client.
I connect to a server of my choice and quickly do my search and start my download. After awhile I am transferred to another server automatically and can no longer search or download, but the one I already started still continues to download.
It's a little bit of a hassle, but I am still able to get my files @ good speeds and continue to use my old client.
