A little back round about my self I live in israel and have been torrenting for about two years now. Everything i know about bit torent i have learned here on FST from all it's knowledgeable members.
I have tried to be as active as possible
My start started before 2 years ..my first account in the world is the demonoid xD i love this tracker ! now i growth i'am member alot of great trackers like iplay TL mudic-vid elektronik BH peerportal and more... !!

What kind of content do you download? mostly i download movies and music only..we all know the sct have everything sometimes i search for one on the trade suction but i see this is not possible.

2 years it seems that it's the most common time here to start your journey in torrent ... i started my journey in torrent world from about 2 years ...i was searching for another ways to download
my stuffs from the internet rather than direct download...the idea of sharing appeared so fantastic & cool for me ... i love all kinds of movies and tv shows and to some extent pc games...i found many sites talking about new trackers and the contents of each one and how fast it is so i registired in many trackers...then after along time and after having a large number of trackers i found that some of them only is good in speed and cotent and the other trackers not worth just a look in it....i used several torrent clients bitcommet,vuze,transmission,u torrent,...but the best of them is u torrent...but the speed of upload wasn't too good so i found a better solution for this...it is the seed box it best way to download and seed what you downloaded to help the other users to to download"we help each other" :)
i have now several trackers like Lasttorrent"bittorrent.ro", torrent leech,revolution, bithumen,bithdtv,goem,filelist.ro,ipt,i play,heaven tracker,tv torrents.com,tv torrents.ro
,BitmeTV,the horror channel,PTN,scl

I joined FST to know some new friends and share my experience in torrent.. but my experience is not complete because i don't have all good trackers and on the top of them is SCT..i heared about it too much ..how it's fast with very good contents
specially its packs of movies ...i want to have it to complete my experience in torrent and also to enjoy the packs that present in SCT
-i'm not a trader so iwill not trade the invite
-and my seed box will keep the ratio very good :D

hello i dont know what the story of the torrents have to do with the invitation u have
but anyways i started using torrents about 6 or 8 years ago using torrentspy as it was the only tracker i knew after about a year or so i descovered the pvt trackers by one of my friends when he invited me to some arabic movies trcker and from then i knew about the pvt torrent sites and i got after a while torrent-damage but i had problem cause the best internet speed i could get at that time was 512/64kb so i got my account disabled becuase of lack of exp and not really understanding the torrent ratio consepts but then after a while luck helped me to get in torrentleech and i used t download the most important torrents which at that time mean the rare files that i could find nowhere alse on the internet and leaving it to upload for a week or 4 weeks to help my slow internet speed

after a while i could got a better internet speed which is 1.5m/512 which is a good connection to cover my needs and then like evry1 alse i like alot of ppl tryed to get into as much tracker as i could but it was so hard to keep track i used to forget all about sites and forget the logins and never get into the site address so i stopped and left some of the most good trackers in watch i really liked the most cause of diffrant contents and good community and pretimes witch was for me revtt scc tl linkomaja arabfilms tvtorrents

and after a while i had a problem with high woltage in the power witch had a great effect on my house destroyed most of my electronics and it took me like about 5-6 month to restore ecrything and buy new router and mainboard and so....
then i asked for my accounts back and i could get most of them back and for some i only had the information of the site on my browzer history and when i tryed to recover it said email is not found in database but i was totaly fine untill i worked with a vip guy and he knew i could get some tv shows so fast from that moment i was offered good moeny to help him get some tv shows(heroes-californications-wwe-,,,,) and after a while i found some competation when i comes to getting the torrents fast and i reserched about pre times and i knew SCT is the best when i comes to pre times so i though i must use legal way and i logged in to irc sct support and offered donation and told them about the reasons i want in
but the refused my offer i made some requests here but i was not so lucky and as i was losing all hope i found ur offer so I though it might be the end to my search :)


i love tvshows movies appz and some learn materials cause i am mcse and still learing to finish some exams.

i never share anything cause i never get somthing that i could like rare of hard to find or even fast and my speed of 512kbs is not so great to upload torrents so i used to download what i need and leave torrent active seeding untill i get desent ratio .

What cabalo said plus don't click on any images or random links anybody sends you via pm,don't take any gft invite from barrywhite(true story,there is some guy who did this and barely 24hrs he got his sct disabled) and finally use a proxy when opening the screenshots being posted here.

No one "deserves" to be on any tracker .It's fortune and circumstance.

PTM is a fun site for sure but SCT is totally different. SCT is scene oriented and much less softbatch when it comes to noobs. Like on PTM you'll have people that ask noob questions like "is this legit" on a well established scene group release whereas on SCt that person would get pwned.

To all you fellows who wonder what SCT is like on the inside, just post. I have the most ridiculous internal standards for this invite so take your chance here. You may gain entry to what I think is the best scene site online.

Well I learned about bittorrent about 5 years ago from word of mouth, as a better p2p method of getting movies and complete albums. Used it from time to time, mainly the Isohunt search engine.

Around 3 years ago I signed up on Punktorrents cause of some link I found on the net. There I learned about Kraytracker, a closed private site to share punk music. It had a much better design then punktorrents, as well as higher standards on uploads. I was lucky and got in on that via open registration near its beginning.

Awhile later I signed up on the TR invite forum (late 07) when it was still allowing trading. On TR I got tons of sites I never used because of the amount of giveaways pushed onto me. I quickly grew sick of the admins deleting my posts so I joined FST. I was eventually banned on TR for flaming the site on FST, or maybe cause I traded when they supported trading, I don't really know. I had stopped using that forum anyways so it did not matter to me. Those tracker accounts I got from TR have all died by now.

On FST I got to know a few people, and one of them invited me to an invite forum called I-Z. I got to know some torrenters on that site and am still in close touch with about a dozen of them, even though that forum is long dead.

I've never used or appreciated a site more than that second tracker I'd gotten in through open registration, which was before I had joined any invite forum. Looking back, it was all kind of pointless going further into this scene when I could have stayed on pubs and not spent so much time online. Well at least I don't get threatening ISP notices..

I got invited to ScT somewhere along that journey, and all I can say is it's hands down thebest source for scene releases. good luck to all the entrants of this giveaway. ;)

Here's my bittorrent history...
When I started, I didn't know anything about private trackers. I got invited to TorrentLeech by some online dude that I knew from IRC. I learned pretty fast, and started building up my ratio, while keep bittorrent open 24/7 (as much as I could). I could never reach the power user status though, because my upload speed is terribly low, 16 KBps :cry:. I kept seeding for months trying to get the power user status (never reached the goal though).

I'm a big fan of music, but torrentleech wasn't enough for me, since I was in need of old content too. A few months later, I was looking for new ways to download music because eMule was killing my internet speed.
On the 1st of October, 2006, I found some random p2p software named soulseek. I had no luck finding the music I wanted, but instead I found something wayyyyy better:) there were chat rooms in soulseek, and i was talking to some random people about music and someone just offered me an invite to oink.me.uk (RIP!). I had no idea that I was super lucky to get an invite to that music heaven, but I learned fast and started downloading music and building my ratio :). Now it was twice harder since my lame 16 KBps upload speed was split to both torrentleech and oink.

Fortunately, oink went on a long long (LONG LONG!!!) freeleech during christmas. This is what actually made me a power user for the first time on a private tracker, because I downloaded LOADS of music albums, then I had LOADS to share, and I was uploading at my max speed (16KBps) 24/7, sacrificing my internet experience for the sake of my ratio and user status:lol: It wasn't long before I got the oink power user status I was craving for:cool:. I kept uploading at max speed every time I could and kept building up my ratio.
After I reached the power user status on oink, I got invites from people in the power user forum (loved it) to tvtorrents, x264, hdbits, thedvdclub and a few others (which I ended up not using), because it was impossible to maintain a good ratio on so many trackers with my 16KBps. I managed to keep a decent ratio on those websites but I had to keep utorrent open 24/7 which was slowing down my internet like hell. Couldn't download much though lol:dry:.

When oink closed down, I managed to get invites to both waffles and what, and started uploading some torrents and building my ratio again.
After a while, maybe a year or so, I couldn't keep up with the ratio demands anymore and pretty much stopped using bittorrent. After a few months I lost all of my accounts due to inactivity. The only account that wasn't wiped was my tvtorrent account.

About a month ago I decided I want to start using bittorrent again, this time using a seedbo., I managed to get my account back on what.cd because it was not deleted, only disabled due to inactivity. I have a seedbox now, so I'm slowly building my ratio on what (because it's damn hard to seed there...), while uploading lots of gigabytes on tvtorrents (very easy to seed :happy:).

Now I'm basically trying to get invites to a few top trackers including SCT, because I can actually get a good ratio with my seedbox now. The content I'm interested in is music, games, windows applications and video (tv/movies).

I'd love to get invited by you so let me know, thanks :)

Since TrueSounds posted his story, I will post mine. It's not a fairy tale. Some of you may recognize it. I don't care. TrueSounds and I were members here over a year ago. The first contact I had with him was when he pm'ed me on Tranceroute and asked how we could get karma points. That's what I remember anyway. He and IdolEyes are two of the better people here. Much better than me for sure. So I will post this because the first time I referenced my past here the post was in moderation and I don't feel the need to hide or be anonymous.

I was involved in a forum a few years ago completely unrelated to filesharing. One day, a thread pops up about being able to download free porn. I jump on it and sign up at cheggit. It took me some searching to figure out what this bittorrent was about, but I figured it out in the name of Fap.

I used cheggit for a while, then realized one day that there must be more than porn on bittorrent. So I began to search on google. I found torrentz (I assumed the z was necessary to get the good stuff). I found torrentz public indexer and then mininova and then through the tracker, the pirate bay. I used that for a while.

On The Pirate Bay there were references to Demonoid, supposedly the best tracker ever. So I began to seek that out. I found an invite on EBay for like $10 and tried to buy it. I must have messed up during signup and never got the confirmation or something. Disappointment.

A week or two later, I suddenly get an email with an invite. I sign up and wow am I amazed that my seeding efforts don't go unnoticed. I now can watch my ratio get calculated and wow look at all those files and all those peers!

Shortly thereafter Demonoid goes down. I search google for answers and stumble upon FST. I didn't bother registering, but read about a few open signup lists. I tried dozens of sites. The first that seemed to feel right was Bitsoup. I used it for a few months and learned about seeding and connectability and uploading and the scene etc.

Then I decided I wanted something else, something that the users who uploaded torrents had, Scenetorrents, which was for me the source of torrents.

I came to FST and opened an account, dunson, which I'm sure some remember. I posted often and suddenly pm's started appearing inviting me to sites and forums. I applied for a few giveaways and within a few months I was a member of many, many trackers. Too many.

But, as some may know, I blew it. Depressed in real life and generally pissed off at torrents for distracting me in part (most of it was weed) while I lost a major scholarship ($80k down the drain and choices I couldn't begin to explain to anyone here), I decided to get revenge. I gave away or "traded" almost all of my accounts. I put trade in quotes because I never wanted or needed the account I was receiving.

In hindsight, I don't know why I thought that would help me feel better. But with some time, I was alright. I began using newsgroups and enjoyed that a lot (still do).



When I stopped smoking weed and rationalized my mistakes in real life, I saw that I had made a real mistake. I've tried to do better this time around.

I started using torrents again this spring when I got a fast new connection and a very nice new pc with which I wanted to share files again rather than just leech from usenet. I found an open signup at Pretome. I used that site for a while. I talked to the admins at FTN and got my account reenabled. I came back here several times, mostly got banned, but eventually I wore the admins down (they look out for you guys more than you could know). And I got invites to many sites and signed up to check out newcomers.

Now, I use torrents sometimes, switching between SCT or SCC or FTN or especially PTM based on what I want or the mood I'm in that day. I use newsgroups too. And rapidshare lately. But I dvr most of my shows and try to download just what I missed in theaters. So I want much less files than I used to. And I don't care much about posting on sites or idling in irc or uploading tons of gbs.

By many accounts, I'm a horrible member of this community. Yet, I don't think that's fair. I just don't fit in properly with the types of people who sign up and follow every rule to the T and never question anything. In general, I think most reasonable people I've met here and there know me as a pretty good guy.

Whatever. That's my long story. Some of you hate me. Most don't care. I'm just here to post for fun and pass the time.

i think your story is close to mine but i dont have so high lvl torrent sites and i dont think i need to and i only download few torrent and i also dont care of uploading but just for keeping almost 1:1 ratio

man, if i ever told my long long story here, you'd probably think I'm too oldskool for this shit. That's probably one of the reasons i'm so skeptical about people at BT forums, and a little rough on the edges.

It started at 1995 with IRC transfers, then ftp boards, then newsgroups in 1998 and also emule and audiogalaxy, then newsgroups board co-owner in 2001, then suprnova, then private bittorrent tracker admin in late 2002, PHPBB based, then FTP distro sysop in 2003, then came the cops at late 2004 around the same time they closed suprnova, then torrents user ever since.
I might be wrong in some of the chronology, but you get the idea.
Bottom line, I've seen it all, I've contacted with too many people with too many different motivations. But in the end, nothing has been so rotten as the BT world, because of one simple word: "invites". Not even the scene, with their 15 year no lifers old racers was so rotten and ridiculous.

you know what, I'd love to read about your "story" some day...personally, this is one of the best parts about torrenting and more so about forums like here...you get to meet some real cool people (you very much included) and you get to learn stuff as well (and I don't mean in terms of torrenting although it helps)...that's one of the prime motivations for me and why I got hooked into the community end of torrents since 2005 (despite using p2p stuff from much earlier)

I'm hoping some more people apply. Ideally this invite would go to someone who will be able to use SCT as their many site. That means they will have to be able to keep up (seedbox or fast cable is necessary). It means that they shouldn't have so many other sites that SCT is just another option.

Mine's incredibly boring .
I was on Aradi exclusively for like 3 years and didn't even know other places existed , like some wheelies but without the prestige lol , until I found that there was a movie I desperately watched to watch that they didn't have.
A little goggling led to TL which in turn led to this place.
I thought "cool I will post 3 times wait a month and get my invite to TL" ( even though I didn't really know what it was - I assumed by my goggling that it was at the top of the food chain).
So I posted , forgot about the site and waited a month.
I then opened a thread totally expecting a TL right away.
Well obviously it didn't work out the way I wanted but the situation didn't lessen my resolve , so I did what I thought would led to me finally getting that invite I began to post more.

The funny thing is the more I posted the less I cared about about getting what I wanted.The posts stopped being merely a means to an end but an end in themselves.
And funnier still when I finally got my TL invite it wasn't because I asked for it because someone thought that I might like one ,which is the way it should be.

In time I've been invited into other ,some would say "better" places although I don't totally agree this the assessment.
I do know this though, 'though I am grateful for any generosity shown me , I appreciate none as much as that first .

PS @ TrollinThunder whatever else you have done I've never thought that you were a horrible member of this community.You bring more humour and intelligence to this place than a lot of more "valued" members.

I understand your hesitation, but I just want to add that I'm using a seedbox because I can actually afford it now, unlike 2 years ago:) not planning on losing any accounts, gonna be using a seedbox for a long time. My current seedbox seems to be a very good one even though it's my first, but if anything happens to it I can always switch to another company.

i'm using now A limted number of sites ...5 sites exactly TL,Revtt,Bithumen ,bithdTv and BitmeTv.because it contains what i need ..i have multiple sites because what i didn't find it here ii will find it there.and i'm not looking for more sites ...all i asked here before is karma bonus for my bithd Tv account .& SCT is my dream to be my main source for its good pretimes and its very good packs when i have it the other sites will be an altenative to it not Not vice versa...another thing ....why my seed box is sucks its speed is 100/100 mb/s

You might be an amazing member, a great contribution to some community, ect. ect. but I can't really trust you until I've known you for longer. You have managed to go on steroids and at times post 60-70 times within a single day, and have requested/posted in multiple giveaways to "leet" sites within a matter of days from your apparent "return".

I just don't think that cuts it. You have to realize that you can't simply magically return and post hyperactively, than within a matter of days get every single site there is. Theres more to torrenting than simply making it your objective to get every site.

Now I'm not accusing you of collecting. But short, quick bursts of selective activity would seem to point to that. If you stay on this site longer, and become more established and active here over a longer period of time, I think more members would have more trust vested in you.

My first sites were torrentspy and suprnova i stayed in the public scene for a very long time, shit prob 4 months ago i joined my first priv site which was bitsoup because i actually managed to get in when there were still slots and the same with nordic t those 2 sites are awsome when it comes to download speed and the content was decent =) torrentbytes i dont use much but i signed up because the site looked pretty, im a power user in bitsoup.org and on nordic im the only englsh guy that comments on files... i love the community even though there are alot of dicks but overall i love it....

Anyway i would greatly appreciate an invite i have proofs i think you already saw them in my other post but ill show you again

I know what you are saying mate...and its just as I said...it doesn't hurt to apply...its not my decision whether I'm selected or not (and I'm not in this case)...so me going on "steroids" doesn't really affect the final outcome...I already stated which sites I want to get into and so I'm gonna keep trying until I do...whether that happens in the next week or in the next decade...who knows (and quite frankly who cares - I mean I'll still keep trying)
