All right,
I'm using a modified hosts file and it's posing a bit of a problem to me. You see, I'm running IIS on this machine as well, and thus my localhost (127.0.0.1) is actually a real (test) web site. Meaning that every time I visit a site which uses ads from a domain located in the hosts file, an authentication box pops up, as the machine seems to be trying to log on to itself(?!?). One box for each ad, every time. It's a pain. I've tried giving my localhost directory access for everyone, but it still won't work. Please help...
