not only do they lose revenue, but they are also forced to delay release date, meaning people have to wait longer to get the real WORKING version!! but if u can, post a torrent on suprnova. i'm sure millions of people want it

The cz is final and there IS a PRE-gold copy out just not GOLD but Pre-gold and GOLD are same gold has just been released to public for sale.

Um, no they're not. Pre-Gold is actually the game still in the beta stage. Remember the Halo beta leak? Well when JAGiSO re-released it, it was also labeled Pre-Gold, so that gives proof that Pre-Gold releases are beta.

You just go to a Internet Cafe that has CS, and you write down (or email yourself) the CD key, thats it, the cd key is in Windows Registry "talk about security!" lol

I dunno much about UT2k3 CD keys, but the HL or CS keya are located in a registry key. I'm pretty sure though that they made a small program that you could see what you're UT2k3 key is though. ;)

yea steam is fukin gay bullshit pisses me off cuz JUST CUZ steam is opened on my desktop i get a ping of 2000 and when i play cs 1.5 i get like less then 200...btw im on dailup so thats not bad less then 200 with like 16 players

the program is on www.unknowncheats.com just go on the hacks section and then go on ut2k3 and they will say cd key changer dl it on the interent cafes pc and then itwill tell u the key after u take it MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE KEY the internet cafe pc has or else other ppl will go on it and it will say key in use

As I understand it, when a game "goes Gold", that's when they ship the master copy/copies of the game out to the pressing plants, and begin mass production. Anything before that is beta.

And if the person who grabbed the source code, which was supposedly a month old, also grabbed a working version of the game at the time, then it's most definitely a beta.
