Could we get those [-] symbols for each subforum category instead of for each main category?
I'd shrink the newsgroups and the non-serious discussions for less scrolling to the forums I actually want, but right now this isn't possible. Hiding a whole forum group isn't very practical to anyone, cause there is such varied stuff in each.
I'm sure people who use solely bittorrent/ newsgroup would appreciate this. Maybe also people who have no interest in certain category's that are high up on the list but who like the lower forums.

I agree...I have no knowledge or interest in NZB for example...so I would do to the same for those forums
I assume you guys have FST in your bookmarks. Have you tried adding forum IDs to the exemption list?
Just add &exclude=X to the end of the newposts url (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search.php?do=getnew). Where X is a list of ForumIDs (seperated by commas) to exclude.
For example:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=80,106,107,108,120This will block the NZB forum's posts from showing on the new posts list. :)
EDIT: The ForumIDs are shown at the end of the section name in the URL. For this section it would be:
http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-everything-related-board-9So instead of seeing posts in sections you care nothing about, just re-click your FST bookmark and you'll only see posts from sections you choose to see.

Skiz, they just meant in the main forum index (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/), not in New Posts.
Right now you can collapse the following:
Forum Information & News
File Sharing Discussions and Support
Off-Topic Discussions and Support
Report Section
What they want is to be able to also collapse:
Forum Information & News
File Sharing Discussions and Support
BitTorrent
NewsGroups
Off-Topic Discussions and Support
Technological Discussions
Other Serious Discussions
Non-Serious Discussions
Report Section
This is a good suggestion, I'll try to work on that in the future.
Yea, I just thought my suggestion would keep them from seeing unwanted stuffs.
I know that doesn't work for all, as everyone likes to browse the board in their own way.

Thanks for the reminder on customizing a bookmark tab. I had been using a customized one for the longest time but it broke when the board was restructured a bit not too long ago. I'll remake a new tab cause that solution was pretty good.
What Tesco said was exactly what I meant, I think that would be something useful to mod into the site in the future, whenever you have some free time.
