Confirmed from

http://www.nouse4aname.com/

7/28 NEWS
...Tony's split acoustic LP is recorded and ready to be mixed, the only bummer is that it won't be out until March 2004.However there will be an MP3 available here alot sooner than that.

9/29
Tony's acoustic split CD is done and will be out in march. and there will be an MP3 here sooooooon.

no doubt I won't find an advance on this

[02/05/04]

Work is underway on Tool's next album, despite the fact that A Perfect Circle will be touring for the next little while. The writing process for this album will be similar to the process for "Lateralus": the band works on music, sends demos to Maynard, he works on vocals, and so on. The singer discusses this in the newest issue of Kerrang magazine, saying "we're working on a new Tool record now. I'm multi-tasking. I can't walk and chew gum but I can change hats." It was four and a half years between "Ænima" and "Lateralus", it has so far been (only) almost three since the spirally record was released. So really, they are almost ahead of schedule.

Corporate Avenger - Born Again (Out July 13th)

Quote from their website: www.corporateavenger.info/home.html (http://www.corporateavenger.info/home.html)

Cd born again release slightly delayed. The new cd which was scheduled for release on june 13th has been moved back about 1 month in order to allow for proper mastering and completion of artwork and final mixing. Those who have pre ordered the cd by sunday, june 13th will receive the pre order price of $9.99, all orders placed after June 13th will be charged $12.99.

We apologize for the unexpected delay however we are doing our best to make sure that it is worth the wait as we are working diligently to complete as high a quality a release as we can afford at this time, and mastering is a very important part in that process.

Over 3 years have passed since the release of Freedom Is A State Of Mind.
Once again the Corporate Avenger use the medium of recorded music to express themselves from the paradigm that all life is sacred and that every moment is a gift. Just like all previous releases the language used is the language used by the band in their every day speech, since both lyricists are old punk rockers some people find this dialect to be offensive, therefore we would like to point out that once again this cd is not for everyone it is not the intent of the creators of this cd to offend anyone, it is quite simply how we talk.

With Born Again, Corporate Avenger challenges the absurdity of using "God" as the inspriation for acts of cruelty and violence towards eachother as a human race. With songs like "Gay Muslims for Christ" and "Jihad Schmihad", Corporate Avenger invites all members of the human race to abandon any belief system which leads one towards feelings of hate and destruction.

"Every Moment is a Gift", and "In the Alone" explore the deepest connection to the essence of life itself from the depths of our souls to the far reaching bounds of the universe.

"Boarding Schools" delves into the shameful history of the treatment of Native Children by the United States and Canada whose policies of assimilation were nothing short of brainwashing, kidnapping and ethnocide. This approach was the direct result of a perspective of religious and cultural superiority as opposed to one of compassion and understanding and respect, the result of which is a severe loss of a connection to the source of many of this lands greatest cultures and spiritual understanings.

"White faces in the Black Hills" is a song about Mount Rushmore and how this monument often used to symbolize the greatness of the USA might actually be the greatest symbol of the miscarriage of justice in our history and might be better viewed as a prime example of what happenes when one group of people decides that another group of people has no real rights, and therefore is not entitled to recieve that which was promised them.

The biggest criticism of the Corporate Avenger has always been that no solutions are offered. This is a complete misunderstanding of the message of the material of the band. When the band sings about Mount Rushmore, or the Trail of Tears, or how Christianity, and Islam, have inspired so much pain and suffering, it is an attempt to cut to the chase and eliminate the "God Clause" for our behavior. Each member of the universe chooses their own actions regardless of the inspiration of those actions.

Bibles, Korans, etc...these books don't justify anything. People hurting other people is people hurting other people. If believing in Jesus Christ helps someone live a peaceful life than keep believing in Jesus Christ. If believing in Mohamed helps someone live a peaceful life and behave kindly towards other human beings, than believe in Mohamed, however if believing in Jesus Christ means that every other spiritual practice which aids people in living positive and productive lives is in valid and to be eliminated, we believe that is incorrect thinking, and history has shown us again and again what happens when those attitudes are put into practice as inspirations for policies and actions. Corporate Avenger has had many members over the years from all different faiths, including several Christians!

The band encourages us to re frame our perspective and test our social policies and our personal behaviors against the concepts of the sacredness of all life. The group encourages each individual to explore and develop the unique talents bestowed upon each one of us and maximize our potential as human beings, in order to contribute in a positive and peaceful manner to the world around us and make the universe a better place for having given one the incredible gift of life.

If we operate from the paradigm of many of our ancestors and embrace the incredible opportunities that our amazing technologies might afford us we can create an incredible today and tomorrow....

We encourage people to escape the mindset of fear which has been instilled in us all by the organized spiritualities of the world and instead embrace those thoughts and sights and sounds which inspire us to live a great life.

AFTER 3 YEARS THEY ARE BACK !!! HOORAY !!!
